During the mandatory shut down of businesses from Covid the owner Jewls decided the law did not pertain to her and she never shut her doors while other people were financially struggling and losing their businesses the owner Jewls profited during that hard economic time. The owner, Jewls is doing a bait and switch with her Groupon offers. Groupon states you can purchase 3 of this business services. I pointed that out that Groupon stated this and she said not her problem what they have on Groupon as she allows only one Groupon. Jewls was very unprofessional to the point of mean and abrasive.

Wow....I would HIGHLY recommend this individual contact Governor *** ********. I'm quite sure he can set the record straight! As far as Groupon goes, I let ALL clients know that I only accept ONE Groupon per client! This is not Groupon's policy, it is MY policy! This individual also sent me harassing text messages stating how she would be "reporting" my business for being open during Covid.

This person bought a 2nd Groupon about 2 months after her 1st Groupon wanting another service at a highly discounted price. I denied her Groupon (via text message when I noticed she purchase another Groupon) and let her know she can receive a refund. This individual is not out of money, simply harassing me and my business because I refuse to let her use another Groupon. My business is located in Lakewood Ranch not Clearwater - online harassment is so prevalent these days!

Anyway, I, since this latest incident, have decided to not utilize Groupon services anymore. It just isn't worth the hassle. I have used Groupon for many years with great success, and even to this day, have several VIP Members who came in via Groupon.

Why this individual keeps harassing me is beyond my comprehension. I definitely do NOT want this type of clientele utilizing my services. As we must all be aware, there just simply are people that cannot be satisfied and most likely need some professional/divine help.

I have been approving small business loans for 20 years now and have never seen an owner rude to former or present clients as jewel's does not understand it is everyday people like us who pays her overhead and bills. So many business owners lost their business or business still barely surviving while jewels made money during the Covid shutdown which was mandated by the governor. The owner has no special privileges just because she perceives Lakewood Ranch where her business is located in a small commercial strip plaza that does not impress to you the look of a spa in inside and out. To people who live or have been to Clearwater that was a direct and negative slam of Clearwater people with the analogy that Lakewood Ranch people are better is a biased and prejudice remark. You can't make people get help as they have to want it but this lady is off the chart on certifiable crazy. The goal is for consumers to understand this business. This business is not even an accredited BBB company. BBB has strict standards of accreditation for companies which are built on BBB's standards for trust which emphasizes best practices for how businesses should treat the Public in a fair and honest manner. As the owner of the business, Jewel's does not believe rules apply to her as though mandated she
chose to be greedy and keep her business open while other businesses adhered to the mandated shutdown and lost their business while she thrived during the hard economic times. Along with that the statement about not honoring what Groupon states as a business owner or correcting it off Groupon is not a clients fault nor is it theirs to correct the incorrect information they gave Groupon. There is nothing wrong with Groupon you just have to stay away from shady businesses as this one and to see if it is a legitimate business with good ratings please check the BBB as a guide to reputable businesses. This business has no rating as not accredited with the BBB nor can this business be accredited if wanted as this business has no best business practices, no level of trust and no morals.

It's all I did was deny her using a second groupon and the harassment continues

Please note there has been no harassment to the owner of this business. The truth and only the truth prevails. You can't have your business that you willingly listed on Groupon which specifically states you can purchase up to 2 Groupons. If this is the owners rule she should not fraudulently post that on Groupon if that is her policy. There are laws on bait and switch fraud which the owner has done to lure you into her business. The owner did not stand by her word on what she not the consumer posted on Groupon. This business is not an essential business and chose to stay open when other businesses adhered to the law and lost their businesses. If this would have been reported to the health officials they would have shut the business down as the owner was not willing to do so and be charged with 2nd degree misdemeanor which lands you in jail for 90 days along with a $850.00 fine. Owner did not experience this and is more worried about not standing behind what she herself put on Groupon. You break the law there are always consequences
