On January 3, 2024, Rndc Construction, started a reroof project on my home and left it with just the underlying materials on January 5, 2024.This is an insurance claim paid job so their name is on the insurance claim check.Its now February 10,2024, and the have not returned to finish the project on the roof of my home. Also the refuse to send a letter of release request to remove themselves from the check.My home is in danger of further damage due regaular rain and thunder storms in the area plus other weather conditions.Can please help me with this matter as have them remove their name off the check since they literally abandoned **************** so I can get another roofing company to finish thiis project on my property. Please advise, thanks in advanceBusiness response

I am writing on behalf of RNDC Construction LLC in response to the complaint identified by the ** ********. We acknowledge the importance of the issues raised and seek to provide a transparent account of the situation.
The project in question has faced significant delays, predominantly due to the complainant's refusal to endorse the insurance checks. These endorsements were necessary to fund the completion of the roofing work that our company was contracted to perform. Despite having all the proper permits and approvals in place, our progress was hindered by this lack of cooperation.
Understanding the predicament, the insurance company agreed to issue checks directly to RNDC Construction LLC, thereby hopefully eliminating further delays caused by the complainant's non-compliance as it relates to endorsing the previous checks. Check the frequency listed below. As a result of this resolution, we have been able to proceed with the work, and I am pleased to report that the roofing is now 85% complete.
Ck Number-******* Dated 10/5/2023 for $40,000 was deposited into our RNDC operating account only to bounce as the claimant voided the draft.
Ck Number-******* Dated 11/14/2023 for $40,000 was once again deposited into our operating account only to bounce again as the claimant voided the draft. Please note these transactions also penalized our business accounts with insufficient funds.
Please note the Police report number *********** was issued due to Mr. ********* lack of cooperation in completing the contract.
Until payment has cleared the claimant is currently in breach of contract which is attached. We have consulted with our legal representation on a construction property lien. This is the sole reason the project has not reached full completion as the delay has been on the complainant's refusal to sign off on the insurance checks, despite the clear contractual obligations and our readiness to complete the task at hand.
At RNDC Construction LLC, we are committed to the highest standards of workmanship and client satisfaction. We take pride in our work and are dismayed by this complaint, which we feel is unwarranted and not reflective of the true nature of the circumstances.
We trust that this letter clarifies the situation and demonstrates our commitment to resolving any issues responsibly and professionally. We are willing to engage in further
dialogue to ensure that this matter is settled to the satisfaction of all parties involved. Once payment has cleared, we have no problems completing the remaining 15% of work to close out our permit with the *************. Please note we have not been paid for any of the work that we have completed to date.
