      I had a terrible experience with front desk costumer service at Dr . Office Jenny F***** , APRN-C . My appointment was scheduled for 4:00 pm , I arrived at 3:40 pm twenty minutes earlier and I signed my name at the time I arrived . I was patiently waiting understanding how busy this offices usual are and at 5:00 pm front desk ask me to leave because the doctor already left and I have to reschedule my appointment for another day . I felt without protection in a system that I trust to treat my illness, as a loyal costumer I am . it was lock of observation from FRONT DESK when they see me seated over a hour and patients that arrive later than me left and I still remain seated. No questions , no concerns from FRONT DESK WORKFORCE, I lost my half day at work , time , gas and they have no idea how this can affects me at personal level . EMPATHY is first requirement needed when you decide to work in a medical field . You work with people that are sick , it is not a pleasure . I have days or months without proper rest for being worried about what could be happening inside my body that is not working properly , question like “ is it curable ? “ , Is it early for a positive diagnostic?”’, etc . I recommend front desk workforce be RETRAINED if they want to give the right care for ill patient at the office and ma

      Florida Medical Clinics have been closed for business since Monday January 9th. They say that their computer systems is down. This obviously is a serious problem as I was told to call back on Monday the 15th to reschedule. I find this as a major because that means that they haven't seen patients for a whole week. How are we to reschedule because they were already booked.

      Florida Medical has THE WORSE billing system I have ever encountered. The Portal FMC uses for patient portal or to pay a bill is absolutely horrible. On the billing Portal you cannot pull previous statelments sent to you, there are no payments that show and if you set up a payment plan you assume (which we all know what that means) it is set up until your account is at $0.00. Not with FMC when you set up the payment plan in the portal it is only set up for the dates showing and after the last date, the payment plan stops and you need to set up another one. Never heard of such a thing. Their statements sent to patients are a joke. Their statements are for every provider one would see within the FMC system. Very confusing if you are not familiar with how a ""real statement" should appear. I do accounting and this is the worst system I have ever seen. A statement from each providers office you are seen at should send a statement showing the date, service, amount charged, amount allowed and amount paid by insurance. I don't know of any other Medical Provider company, outside the state of FL, that does this type of billing to the patients they are serving. If one is no familiar with insurance, billing, statements, etc., one could get confused, just pay and not know what they are paying, especially the elderly that are not familiar with insurance, eob's, etc. They could be paying more than they owe. Is this FMC way of milking the elderly and lining their pockets. The people in the billing office number you are required to call are rude, could care less about your concerns, complaints or anything else. They are right and the patient is ALWAYS wrong. The whole billing department, way statements are done and their Patient Portal and Bill Pay Portal need to be re-designed so it is all in one Portal and make statements available for all, not just one.

      My wife has Multiple Sclerosis and heart disease along with several other serious ailments. The past three years or so of dealing with this practice for MS has been an absolute nightmare with respect to how this poorly managed office operates.
      This doctor was recommended by a previous primary due to this office accepted my wife's plan. My wife has encountered several urgent matters requiring an immediate visit with this doctor. One example: Back in Augustof 2020 my wife had a reaction to contrast during a heart procedure. Brain swelling immediately developed causing her to lose her balance, fall numerous times, lose her speech, slur her speech and lose her memory. This, if not treated immediately within several days of IV steroids to reduce brain swelling can lead to permanent brain damage. Primary doctor referred us to the MS specialist Dr. Katheine S.. Her office in completely ignoring the urgency related to this matter offered an appointment 3 months out. Asking to speak to office managers, anyone of authority to accommodate my wife into the doctor's booked schedule all fell on deaf ears. Their excuse: well she is a specialist and can't just take anyone in abruptly.
      I guess she only cares about focusing on her schedule versus accommodating an urgent matter of which if one goes to the E.R. they may need to refer you back to her specialist. The primary doctor had to battle to get my.wife seen. A few more episodes of such irresponsible behavior from this office staff continued as time has passed. Recently my wife saw this doctor about late September 2021 as the primary once again asked us to see her asap due to memory loss developing. Between this doctor and the primary blood/urine were drawn suspecting a medication or UTI could be causing the symptoms this time. The MS specialist also ordered her yearly brain MRI which was scheduled for 10/10/2021 on a Sunday. Turns out a UTI was found and antibiotics were started by the primary. However, now my wife starts suffering from severe migraine headaches which the primary also started to treat. Primary now recommends scheduling an appointment again ASAP with the MS specialist Dr. Katherimne S. in order to review the MRI once it has been done as well as address the sudden migraines with her. So, on October 5, 2021 I contact their office again explaining that the primary requested i see Dr. S. asap especially for the headaches and although the UTI has been treated, my.wife is still having memory concerns. Again, this office advises that the doctor is booked through January of 2022 and I can make an appointment for February. So I mentioned, what if my wife ends up with permanent brain damage, what if the headaches turn out to be an aneurysm that ruptures? Would you really like for us to wait 5 months for these current existing conditions?
      Upon the young lady responding, I'm sorry but we have to do our job.

      I have finally decided to find another Neurology Specialist for MS. This office lacks professional people communication skills, authoritive skilled personnel in running an office and bringing urgent matters to the appropriate parties to discern whether these concerns are follow up issues for several months later or concerns requiring immediate attention.
      The lack of empathy, compassion and caring for people who already live with serious illnesses which affect their daily quality of life is an absolute disgrace.

      BE WARNED, TAKING YOUR LOVED ONE TO SUCH AN UNDESIREABLE PRACTICE IS NOT RECOMMENDED. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND FIND A BETTER TREATMENT FACILITY.

      They will send fraudulent charges to collections that were paid for by insurance in an attempt to get more funding. I am having to deal with gulf coast collections over funds from 2 years ago all because Florida Medical erroneously entered a bill that was incorrect.
