Excellent! I accidentally found them and so happy I did! Saved alot moving across the country! I hired professional movers to load it and most things made the long trip in good condition.

I had an excellent experience with moving place. I got the truck on the date promised and it was delivered on time. During a cross country move was stressful but moving place really did a great job at answering any questions I had! I would highly recommend moving place!

Best company I found to work with during a stressful cross-country move. I am a person who does my research before making the important decision of entrusting my possessions to a moving company. Movingplace had a significantly better price and more eco-intelligent way of doing things in a timely manner. They use a hybrid system of dividing a truck-trailer into a walled off house-moving section at the far end and then filling up the separated rest of the trailer with freight. They have a helpful demo video, plus the driver was friendly demonstrated the wall/shelf system and helped with setting up the ramp. I also saw that the driver had a paper checklist for how to do all this in case they were not familiar with the system. The space you get is bigger/better than most pod systems since it is 9 feet high. I was able to use the 8 foot horizontal shelf bars provided and an old sheet of plywood and make a second floor in the space to double the usable space and not crush or damage the lower items in the 9 foot high space. I put a rug up there on top of the plywood and bags of pillows, linen and clothes, small boxes, to keep chairs and things from scratching or shifting. You need to have or borrow a step ladder for this process. It worked super well to tightly pack and get it all into the less expensive space, saving me several hundred dollars over other ways of moving the same stuff. Thanks to MovingPlace!

I had a great experience with The Moving Place. In the beginning it was not clear that we were only renting/hiring a portion of the truck. We rented 8 linear feet of the truck but had the option to rent more. Additionally, I had one person, Andrew, who was my go-to person for any questions or concerns. He always and immediately answered my emails; calls were not usually responded to but email communication was great. They delivered the truck on time and picked it up on time. The first/drop-off driver was helpful and friendly and showed my husband how to do a few things with the securing-equipment in the truck. Andrew was very helpful with questions and they provide you with a short video detailing the whole process and information on how to secure your portion of the truck. The last/delivery driver, Lavelle, was amazing! We had no one to help us offload the heavy furniture, just me and my husband. Lavelle would not even let me get on the truck so I wouldn't get hurt and he helped my husband with all the offloading. He put some stuff at the edge of the truck so I could get the lighter things. I/we, one of us, probably would have gotten hurt if it had not been for Lavelle's help. He was a blessing. I would highly recommend this moving company. Everything was delivered safe and sound.
