This is to report an ongoing issue that we're having with a local carpet cleaning business who is bypassing me, her son and advocate. ********* of ******************************************* is the victim. MPCS is making unnecessary appointments with my 98 mother who has memory and cognitive challenges. I first informed him not to contact my mother and to go through me for any appointments Prior to today, he had contacted my mother repeatedly and made appointments to clean her carpets. The last one before had her caregiver turn him away was in 2019. Unbeknownst to me, he contacted her in September of 2021 and charged her $325 to clean the carpets in her 1,100 sq ft condo. He then scheduled and cleaned her carpets again today, 2/9/2022 - five months later, including the full treatment again - charging her an additional $325. Her carpets are clean. She does not have any pets and lives alone. She has a CNA that comes every week day to care for her - but the new CNA didn't know about the problems we've had and allowed him to come on site. I called the owner again and informed him again to cease and desist. I also told him that I was reporting him to Elder Abuse and warned him not to call my mother again or I would call the police. Consumer Response /* (3000, 19, 2022/04/06) */ Earlier this week, the company (Master Performance Cleaning Services) again called and attempted to schedule a cleaning service with my mother after they were told to never call and that we'd call the police if they did. They have a blatant disregard for my mother's financial well being and are looking only to schedule additional, costly cleanings. I do not know how the owner can live with himself! I have taken no additional action other than to alert the care giver (a CNA) that the company is not allowed in my mother's condo and to contact me immediately if they show up.
