This place shaved my toy poodle until she bled along with her toenails. She was traumatized as well as myself. They were very rude and unprofessional! I want a refund immediately for all the pain and suffering my poor puppy is going through. This was animal abuse! I couldn't get into my regular groomer and took her there. Unfortunately it turned into a horrible disaster! I just want my money back and want to warn other people about this nasty place with rude staff!Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/26) */ I was given the opportunity to work with other people's animals approximately 30 years ago. I decided to make it a career, which has been very successful. It is very hard to explain to a pet owner what it takes to groom an animal in any shape, (it takes years to learn such a precise profession). When an animal is neglected to the point of the customers with this complaint and it has to be shaved because of matting from head to tail, the pet is going to feel different and naked the owner has to get used to the new look of the dog as well. This pet should have been taken to any groomer months prior to coming to my establishment. Since I am an animal lover I was in shock when I saw the condition this dog was in. I explained to the owner of the pet what had to be done and I gave her the option not to leave the dog with me, she simply said it has to be done! I was pleased to hear that so I could help this dog out of its misery. This white dog was not bleeding when it left my facility. The matter has been resolved. Customer has been reimbursed by check via mail in the full amount -the price of the grooming. After speaking to the customer twice that was what we agreed to do. The customer still went ahead and tried to get the amount in question reversed on her credit card to get paid back double the amount. This is the first time something like this has happened to me and my business in 25 years. It's unfortunate and very uncomfortable. Because of my care and experience I couldn't hold back my feelings. No dog should have to suffer like this one had for a long time. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2021/09/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The owner blatantly lied! My dog was spade and could not be groomed for a month! I'm very upset with her comments and my dog was never ever abused! She is treated better than most children! She is so rude! I've had so many complaints about her and what she did to my puppy was totally uncalled for! I thought we resolved this, but after seeing her lying about my dog has me very upset! It's funny how she couldn't tell me this to my face! She even admitted my dog was bleeding! I'm certainly not done with this lying woman and I will take further actions with my attorney! My puppy was so sick and cried and shook for over a week after I just had surgery as well! The lady is a blatant liar!
