Hydro Bright was maintaining my pool every week. In January, they showed up once and never showed up again. I paid $119.00 for January (4 visits) and want a refund. Due to their lack of response, I hired a new company and told Hydro Bright numerous times by letter, email and phone calls to close my account. Despite promises from Mike, the general manager, that the account was closed, I continue to receive invoices and received an invoice on 5/1/22.Initial Complaint

Hydro right pool service has not provided services yet continues to charge us 109.00$ a month for a green pool. They have come out twice in the last 4 months once on 3/15 and another time one 4/24. Our contract says weekly maintenance. I have called repeatedly left several voicemails, emails. No one will call back. Initially I spoke to someone who said we had not paid our bill which was false. I have been on auto withdraw since we started using them and have all paid invoices to this date. At this time they have charged us 3 months for 2 visits-completely inadequate and not what we are paying for. An invoice was sent for our payment yesterday for this coming month which will be auto deducted from our account- we can not reach anyone how are we suppose to make them stop. On top of that we have spent hundreds of dollars to correct our pool chemicals because of neglecting to do their contracted job. At this point it is stealing. We are owed coming up to 600 in pool chemicals plus services not rendered. No response from anyone. I would like a refund for all of these charges.Initial Complaint

We have been using Hydro Bright Pool Services for a few years. They were supposed to service our pool 01/11/2022 and 01/18/2022. No one arrived. I called them. It went straight to voice mail. No one called back. No one came out to service the pool. They were supposed to come again on 01/25/2022 for their regularly scheduled visit. No one showed up. I called again. Once again, my call went straight to voicemail. No one returned my call. At this point, I thought they went out of business. I called them on 01/27/2022. Once again, it went to voicemail. I left a message that they were fired. Someone from Hydro Bright came out to service out pool 02/04/2022 but we were not home. Someone from Hydro Bright came out again to service our pool today, 02/11/2022. Our gate was locked and no one could have entered the enclosed pool area, yet they emailed us indicating they had serviced the pool and included a photograph. The photo was an out-of-focus, cloudy image that someone might mistake for clouds in the sky but certainly no pool (please see attached photo). And this company has the nerve to send us a bill for the full amount to cover four January visits although they came out only once.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2022/03/25) */ Business response taken verbally by BBB: There was an error in our billing system that has been corrected. They should no longer be receiving any bills. They cancelled the contract and owe us nothing at this time. Consumer Response /* (3000, 16, 2022/04/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) (1) They sent us another bill despite their claim that their billing mistake was corrected. They lied. (2) Their response does not explain why no one came to clean our pool for threee weeks in January 2022. (3) Their response does not explain why they claimed to have cleaned our pool when the entry was locked. Remember, they sent us a blurry photograph of the sky as proof they were there. It was physically impossible for Hydro Bright to clean the pool. They lied. In conclusion, I would like BBB to contact Hydro Bright again and have them explain why they claimed to have fixed their billing system and yet we still got another bill. I would like to see their BBB standing be revoked because they lie, they are incompetent, and they are unresponsive to their former customer. Consumer Response /* (3000, 22, 2022/05/02) */ ***Document Attached*** On 3/25/2022, HydroBright reported to BBB that we would not be receiving another bill: There was an error in our billing system that has been corrected. They should no longer be receiving any bills. They cancelled the contract and owe us nothing at this time." We received another bill in April 2022 and again in May, 2022. HydroBright lied. BBB should follow up with this "business". HydroBright should be put out of business.
