I bought a car from ****, 05/09/22. This was my first car and admittedly I was not very educated on cars when I went into this purchase. I brought my stepdad with me, and we were not informed on the damages this car endured. We were told there were no issues, and the car was just inspected and given a golden stamp of approval. I asked repeatedly if there was anything I needed to know and I was informed there was not. There is a salvage title on this car. When signing the documents, they had me sign the bottom but did not show me the salvage paper. Again, I asked if there was anything wrong or any info I needed and was told no by **** and his employee. 3 hours after I left, my car died while I was backing out of a parking spot. Since then, my engine has given out, I had a bad catalytic converter, my cam shaft sensors are bad, and I have lights indicating there are other issues. My car has spent months in the shop since I got it. I have put more into fixing the car then it's worth. But today really put everything into perspective, I am paying a total of $13,000 on this car, I have paid half of this. Today I went to a dealership where they appraised my car to see its trade in value. I was offered a total of $700. They told me that they feel bad for me because this car is garbage, and I was ripped off going into this sale, this is after I have put thousands of dollars into repairing this car. My engine has a cylinder that is misfiring, and the engine was replaced recently. I will say he "tried" to help me by having the catalytic converter replaced and saying he would put $500 into an almost $3,000 engine repair. He lied about my warranty forcing me to come up with another $500 on top of the $1000 I was paying, plus the $950 added to the end of my loan. I was told by the mechanic that he hadn't paid the $500 he offered, and MANY others he didn't pay. I was also informed the car has a repo title which was never mentioned and was not anything I signed or agreed to.
