Paid with debit card and venmo from dealer based on phone conversations and a video he sent. He assisted in getting the car shipped to me in ************** which that was a fiasco that i paif for as well however my complaint is that he sold me a car that has a salvage title that was not disclosed to me. He claims I looked at the carfax which i did however that does not state there is a salvage title. ALso the day i received the car i took it straight to the car wash and it leaks buckets of water in the convertible top which i immediatly told him and he said that the "plusgs must be clogged and he would send me a video to unclogg them, which he didnt, since then i have received my title (yesterday in the mail from SC and immediatley informed him that the car had a salvage title which i knew nothing about he said i did, he told me, told me it was in my contract i signed which it it NOT. Also advertised the car as clean title, He also advertised the car as having am/fm/cd which is also does not, i also asked him about that as soon as the car was delivered to me he and his response was "oh it has an after factory radio installed", i was never told that. I have since found out the car needs 4 new tires because i had a flat tire over the weekend and they stated these tires all need replacing, in the video he sent me he states good tires...nope also not true. I was totally mislead by this man and he took advanatage of me being out of state, a woman and he knew i was retired looking to purchase a car for my retirement car.4/5/2024 found out today that the car not only needed 4 new tires it also needed a front drivers tie rod, rear brakes, break pads and shocks, paid for tires and alignment, they ordered the tie rod which is being replarred today 4/10/24, during their work they advised me the front bumper is actually "installed" with zip ties!

Customer acknowledged twice that she ran the Carfax on this vehicle and was happy with the results of what ****** shows as far as vehicle records...  The car has a REBUILT title since 2019, not salvage as she is claiming, and it is very clearly stated on the Carfax.  NO ONE CAN CHANGE A CARFAX AND WHAT IT SHOWS.  I don't know why she is acting surprised about having to pay for transport, or claiming it was a fiasco.  I told her I could arrange it for her...  I don't control the transporters, I offered to help her since I have access to a load board and it is much cheaper for me to arrange for her then for her to do on her own.  As far as the car itself, she saw all aspects of the car on video.  Again, not something that can be changed.  Definitely not mislead, she saw everything.  Clearly my video was in depth enough because she mentioned the crack in the grill and was ok with it.  A new grill was put on for her, without her even asking if that was an option, but she didn't mention that either.  I even told her there was scratches and sun fade all of the car and was repainted however she failed to mention that.  She honestly should have, and was even recommended by me, to have a mobile mechanic come and do an inspection of the vehicle for her own piece of mind and elected not to.  If I was out to take advantage, would I make unnecessary changes to the car to make it better after she saw videos.  As far as the roof leaking, the roof does not leak, the drains are clogged up, as she mentioned, and was sent the video of how to easily blow them out,  Anyone that has ever had a car with a sunroof, knows that it has roof drains...  and while this is a convertible, it also has a sunroof.  I'm sorry she feels taken advantage of, however, she was sent videos of the interior and exterior of the car, she ran the Carfax, she knew it had a rebuilt title, and this car was sold as is.   There is nothing I can do to help her.

I have submitted via email to ******************************************** the carfax report showing that this vehicle has had a salvage title since 2015 and then a rebuilt title since 2016.  The customer has very clearly stated multiple times that she ran the carfax on the vehicle and was happy with the records...  She was also told verbally that it has a rebuilt title.  Her claims have no validity to them and I am requesting that this case be closed.Thank you!

on June 16th, 2023, purchased a 2012 EOS **** from Ultimate Autos of Tampa Bay LLC located at *************************************************************************** in full by Credit card, the amount of $8,.455.55 the radio was not working and since he gave me run around few times, I decided to replace the antenna and fix the radio with someone else.Unfortunately, I trusted the owner ************** when he told me that if I have any issues to come back and he will take care of the problem, but seems that he is ignoring me, asking to return and or to call him back because the is too busy and or at a Dr's ****************** line is the air conditioning is not working, the gas gage is not working and never know if I'm running out of gas and yesterday while driving find out the wipers don't work all the time, is a hit or miss when trying and was very scary driving while a torrential rain.at this time, I don't feel secure and not able the car.

Customer purchased car from my dealership on 6/14/23.  She came in a couple of days later and said the radio wasn't working.  I looked at the car and determined it needed a radio code.  I ordered the radio code; it takes between 12 and 24 hours to come in through email.  I explained to the customer what to do once I got the code and she said OK.  Once I had the code, I called her with it so she could enter it into the radio.  I haven't heard a single word from her until yesterday.

Yesterday morning, ************* stopped at my shop.  I was out of office for a doctor's ****************** She spoke to my wife.  My wife explained to her that I was at a doctor's *********** and that I would be back in a couple of hours and to give me a call.  She asked my wife if she could wait, my wife explained she didn't know how long I would be.  She left.  I assume after that is when she called me.  I answered the phone while at my ****************** She told me that the ac didn't work, the wipers didn't work, and that the gas gauge didn't work.  I told her I was about 2 weeks out for repairs and that I could get her in there then.  That answer was not good enough for **************  I tried to explain to her that I had other customers that have been waiting for repairs as well, and that wouldn't be fair to them.  She was not ok with that and expected me to drop everything and move her to the front of the list, as well as expecting me to do repairs for free.  I'm sorry her ac stopped working, I'm sorry that her wipers don't work, and I'm sorry that her gas gauge isn't working however, I can't possibly imagine that if these were all issues for the past 2 months, that she wouldn't have called me or texted me.  From there, she threatened to call the Better Business Bureau.

At this point, I can no longer help **************  She purchased the car over 2 months ago and with her rudeness and threats, I won't be able to in the future.

I am rejecting this response because you seem to have a selective memory, I purchased the car from your wife and 15 years old son working at your mechanic shop and was told to come back if I had any issues.

I support small and local **** and at the time I was very impressed with your family working together, sadly I was wrong and trusted you.

I'll take my loss at time, I don't want to go back and forth with anyone at this time, but as a reminder, Karma has short legs and tend to run fast, good luck.  you may run out of customers if you continue cheating people.

      Sincerely,

On or about the 6th of January 2023 I contacted Ultimate Autos and talked to ******* who is the owner with his wife ******** The vehicle is a 2012 VW Eos With ******* miles.I talked to ******* he said the car was used but in really good condition When I first talked to **************** was going to ship the car. But then my Daughter and her friend thought they would fly from MN to FL to pick up the vehicle. I called and told ******* about the new plans and asked him if he had given the car an oil change, to witch he replied, no the oil is in good condition yet and didn't need changing. I asked him if there were any check engine lights or any lights on the dash,to witch he replied, nope the car is in good working order with no lights on the dash. He said this is the second time he's sold this vehicle so he's got history with it and I asked him why is he selling it a second time? He said the people were moving from FL and didn't want to take the car with. I asked him about the condition of the tires, commenting that I get the car isn't brand new so the tires probably aren't either, but are they in good enough shape that my Daughter and her friend will be able to make it the ***** miles from FL to MN. He said I'll look at them right now. He said yup they are in good condition. The deal fell through and my Daughter couldn't go and get the car.Called **** and told him I'd have to ship. Paid 750 to ship.Car gets here and plastic around map lights is broke and on passenger seat. Oil is two quarts low and check engine light is on I drove the car and there's noise coming from left rear Took it to shop to find the two rear tires have cords showing through Rear shocks are so bad the car tires won't wear evenly I called and asked **** about it He said If ya go to the doctor and get checked out and tomorrow you have heart attack it's not the doctors fault After all he can't tell the future I said he'd check the oil and seen the cords showing and said something,he hung up

Customer purchased the car sight unseen and as is.  He was sent numerous pictures of the vehicle prior to purchasing.  He was also told he was more than welcome to have a mobile mechanic come out to inspect the vehicle prior to purchasing and he chose not to.  He's making claims that aren't even valid as I am a dad and if the tires were as bad as he shows in the pictures, I would not have been open to his daughter driving the car.  Random pictures of tires in a picture such as the one he has submitted can be off of any car...  there is no validity in that these are the specific tires that the car left here with.  The plastic pieces he claims is broken in his pictures isn't broken, it just fell off, something that very well could have happened during transport as it's on a big car trailer and bounces around.  The car is sold as is.  He is many miles away from me and there is nothing I can do to assist him with his situation.  Please close the case as there is nothing left to say or do.  Thanks.

      Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:
He's not being honest.  I talked to the people at the shop who did the tire and shock replacement and they will write an affidavit stating that the tires did infact come off this car. You can also see the vw emblem on two of the rims When does the integrity of **** *he owner come into play? He claims that the plastic and the button isn't broke that it "fell off" during transport. You can see the little pieces It's broke.

So I don't think that this claim should be closed by you the BBB

      Sincerely,

      ****** ********

Please close case.  There is zero grounds for him to stand on.  Car is sold as is.  He chose not to have a mobile mechanic come and look at it.  I can't help him.  I will not be responding any further as there is nothing left to discuss.  I will not be scammed by ****** trying to get money back because I wouldn't negotiate on the price of the car.  Anyone can have a friend write a receipt/affidavit etc!
