    On January 29, 2024, I purchased a 2012 *** X5 from this dealership. **** came across very honest and highly recommended I add a warranty, which I did. The car ran well, at the time the only visible issues were that the back tires were a little bald, apparently that was minimal, and I could change it later because they were "still good" for a while. Other than that, the roof fabric looked a little loose, but **** said it would be fixed prior to pick-up. That was not the case, so he promised it'd be fixed later because the guy left the country. I agreed, left, and went straight to a tire shop to get that over with. At the tire shop I found out that the nug bolt was actually broken on one of the bald back tires which also had a little hole on the inside. The tire needed to be replaced sooner than later so I contacted **** because no one could help us since it was a ***. The next day I had a tire light, by then I had driven the car 2+ hours. The options were to go to *** or have them cut off. Huge inconvenience for day one. After talking to ****, I left the car overnight at a nearby tire shop that the shop uses. **** covered the removal. I paid for two Uber trips, 45+ minutes each way, the tire at another facility, and the new bolts. I moved on, but two days later, I got a check engine light and had a diagnostic done. I did inform **** of the matter and was told to call the warranty. Unfortunately, after calling the warranty, the issue was not something they said was covered. Turns out there was a piece glued to the engine, only visible by removing a part of the engine. I ended up paying to get that replaced. In the days following, the roof fabric gave-in. I informed ********** couldn't work with that fabric hanging, but his guy was not available. I had no choice but to spend hundreds to get that fixed. And just when I thought all was resolved, I have a new check engine light. It's incredible this has all happened in the days following and within a month. I feel scammed, it's too much, and the warranty will not cover any of this. Very unfortunate, I feel the dealership could have done better, and I question their transparency. It is now clear the car was not properly inspected, for the most part, these were issues that wouldn't be obvious during a test drive.
