      Went online to book flight. Got an email with iternary only. Got three different calls with different reasons why they could not book my flight. Wanted more money with each different phone call. Told them to ***** the reservation. They told me flights were non refundable. I did not get a flight. Charged my card a different amount than on receipt of itinerary. The charge also came through marked Southwest. They are not Southwest. Have disputed charges with bank. This was a classic bait and switch.

      I booked a round trip flight from ****************************************** to *********************** for June 2-5 in the amount of $378.85. Flight numbers 1978 and 1129. When I called Foggyfly to get my confirmation number they told me I needed to pay an additional $364 to keep that flight. I informed them that is not what I paid for and the round trip I booked was $378.85. I was then connected to a supervisor and told I needed to pay the additional money to keep the same flight or $221 to take a completely different flight. This business falsely advertised the flight for $378.85 and is now trying to extort me for additional money to keep the flight. They also stated that I could not get a refund as requested so I could book a different flight.

      I went to cheapflights.com and selected foggyfly.com to book a flight. They had a flight for $240 for the time/date I wanted with southwest airlines. The southwest airlines had the same flight on the app for $329 so I booked with foggyfly.com. Minutes after making my reservation I got a call from a phone number from ************** but I couldn't answer. A customer rep left a message and said they need to talk to me about my reservation. I tried to call the number back that called me, but this number was not working. I looked up the customer service number on the website and contacted the rep. *** then told me this is a "restricted flight" and that my seat was not guaranteed. *** said I would need to pay them $470 for a guaranteed flight. I then pulled up the app again on my phone and told her that the flight was $329 on the southwest app. *** was typing in the background, then she said refresh the app and the price jumped to $670 for that flight. It was very strange, I have never seen that happen using this app, and moments after the phone call the price is back to $329 again.They refused to refund my money and would only offer to book a different flight on a different day or airport or make me pay the $470 for a ticket. The customer service representative started yelling at me over the phone and was extremely rude. I ended the call and called back to ask for a supervisor. The gentleman that answered the phone asked for my booking number. I asked him why he needed it, and he said he needed it to patch me through to the supervisor so I gave it to him. Then he put me on a brief hold then THE SAME PERSON ANSWERED AS A SUPERVISOR talking in a lower voice. I said "this is the same person that answered correct" and he said "yes." ************ is scamming consumers by baiting them with low airfaire, then calling them back and telling them the flight is restricted and that we didn't read the terms and conditions and NOW need to pay a higher rate for the same flight.

      This business performs bait and switch tactics. They advertise flights for a certain price and then switch that price or flight as a part of their confirmation or demand additional money in order to book the flight. These tactics are something we are protected against as americans and I would like your assistance in protecting myself and others.

      Date: 05/15/2024Amount: $433.83 Booking Id: 8402 We booked the flight on FoggyFly.com for 05/19/2024 from ******* to LGA direct flight. After the booking I got an email saying you will receive a call from representatives. I got a call from them, and he said we have this restriction for this tickets, You will not 100% get a ticket for same flight, you will have to go 3 hours before at Counter and if they have the availability then you will get it otherwise they will give you next of following day flight and you have to pay the difference for that flights. However, I booked for specific flights because of the I`ve to be there on that time, I don`t want to come in 1-2 days late. He said I`m giving you another option, you can take another flight and 3 hours layover in ********** and pay $601.00 Extra. I told him, I dont want any other flight with additional amount. I asked the representative for Refund; He said No Refund will be issue. I told them this is Scam. He said we this policy. He said, why dont you call us before you book the flight. Please check the attached email and screenshot for this booking.
