This company Hurricane Garage Doors Inc. is a SCAM. They took a $2,500 deposit which is half of the invoice bill and never did the job. We special ordered a specific door. They could not provide it after waiting 7 months and tried to get us to take another door that we did not want. We tried to get our deposit back but they informed us that they have filed for bankruptcy. We filed a lawsuite against the company and the **************** informed us of the following: When they Sheriff tryied to serve a summons they were informed that the registered agent of the company supposedly left the country. They were evicted by their landlord.*******This company is a SCAM!!! ******Review from chris e

Hurricane Garage Doors is in a Chapter ************************************************************** line with all the other people who lost their deposit. Hopefully people keep reading this in the future. I am sure after their BK they will go back taking other deposits.Review from Amber L

BUYERS BEWARE!! We would give them ZERO stars if we could. We gave them a deposit on December 2021 for 3 garage doors. They have kept our deposit and have not installed the doors. After calling countless times, now they say that they do not have the doors and will not return the $5,055 deposit. They are a SCAM! Look them up in the court public records! They are even getting evicted! There is no one in the address stated. They work from Colombia and have local people doing their dirty work. They receive deposits and live their lavish lifestyles from hardworking people like us. We are taking them to court and contacting the appropriate licensing departments.Review from Dustin M

Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad company. Hurricane No Garage Doors has left my building susceptible to the storms for two hurricanes now. They continue to cancel on me when I paid for my door 11 months ago. If you want an actual door and someone that will communicate then find someone else.Review from Dean E.

The worst company to work with they kept on scheduling me for three months over and over again And then They came to install the garage they wanted to charge me extra for the motor and when I refused they charge me extra for the Wireless keypadReview from George P

I ordered new garage doors on 12/28/21. I was told there would be approximately a 6 month delay based upon the pandemic supply issues. I accepted that. Finally in June I was told the my doors were in but they were backlogged in installing them. I have not been able to get a date for installation and now the one person who gave me their cell number and told me I would have a date by August 1 is not taking my calls. I have no date for installation and I need them installed to have my ******************** stay in effect. I need help in getting a commitment to install. Very disappointed and am regretting committing to this company.Review from Jodi S.

Lets start with home advisor. They should be ashamed for recommending hurricane garage door. I called them on June 8th 2021 for a quote. Hurricane got here as fast as a hurricane 9 Jun 2021 and gave me a quote of $5000.00 and took my deposit of $2000.00. It is now 1 Feb 2022 and I still don't have a garage door. I have called them many times and received every excuse imaginable. My favorite was Brayan Blaming the city of Tamarac for delaying the permit. I called the city right after our phone call and they told me that there had been no request made other than the request for a roof 5 years ago. If you are looking for a garage door or other products, look elsewhere or you may be as sorry as I am. You have all heard the old phrase "think Twice" Well if I were you I wouldn't think once. I had written a previous post and and as courtesy to Brayan back in November I removed it. I thought I would give them another chance. Well that was a mistake. Hurricane Garage Doors, Technicians did a excellent job, on the installation of my garage door, they were quick through very professional, very neat and courteous. I'm very happy with their services. The purchasing experience very good. I'm very happy with the final product and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to update their garage door.
