      I BROUGHT MY 2015 CORVETTE INTO SAID LOCATION TO HAVE THE MUFFLER AND SECONDARY CATS CUSTOMIZED AND TO HAVE PROFORMANCE TIPS PUT ON VEHICLE LOW AND BEHOLD ONCE I RETURNED HOME I DID NOTICE THAT THE PIPES WERE CROOKED AND PIECED TOGETHER IN AN AREA THE WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY I RETURNED THE NEXT MORNING TO EXPLAIN AND SHOW THE MANAGER MY CONCERNS FOR THE SHODDY WORK DONE ON MY CAR THEY BRIEFLY ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT THE ISSUE WHICH IN TURN MADE THINGS WORSE BUT ONCE AGAIN JUST CUTTING AND RIGGING ANOTHER PIECE OF PIPE TO EXHAUST WHICH IN TURN MADE THINGS WORSE ONCE I TOLD THEM THAT THE WORK WAS SHODDY AND MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON THEY SAID WE ARE TO BUSY TO HELP YOU WE HAVE OTHER VEHICLES TO DO YOU ARE NOT WORKING WITH US I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU I THEN BROUGHT MY VEHICLE TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC CHECK AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS DAMAGE DONE THE O2 SENSORS AND PRIMARY CATALYTIC CONVERTERS CAUSING LOW ENGINE VACUUM AND SIGNIFICANT LOSS OF POWER PLUGGED OR DAMAGED CATALYTIC CONVERTERS MUST BE REPAIRED TO THE SUM OF APPROX $3200.00 I WISH NO CONTACT FROM THE ESTABLISHMENT AS THEY WERE RUDE DEFENSIVE AND SLIGHTLY AGGRESSIVE AT THIS POINT I JUST WANT THE FULL AMOUNT REFUNDED ASAP FURTHER ACTION WILL BE TAKEN TO RECUPERATE THE FULL AMOUNT OF DAMAGES PLUS COURT LAWYER FEES AND FILING FEES IF NEED BE. I HAVE TAKEN NUMEROUS VEHICLES OF MINE TO THIS LOCATION AND NEVER HAD AN ISSUE BEFORE COME TO FIND OUT THAT THEY HAVE NEW EMPLOYEES AND NEW MANAGEMENT WHICH SEEMS TO BE HAVING AN EFFECT ON WORKMANSHIP.AS YOU CAN SEE IN ONE PICTURE THERE IS NO WELD I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO MAKE POINT OF THE ISSUE THAT THE PRICE QUOTED AND THEN CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHANGED AND DIFFERENT FORM THE AMOUNT CHARGED IN WHICH I WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT A NON CASH FEE AND HAD TO HURRY UP AND PAY BECAUSE THEY WERE CLOSING IN FIVE MINUTES WHICH DID NOT GIVE ME TIME TO OVERLOOK THE FULL INSTALL AND TRANSACTION YOU WILL FURTHER NOTICE THAT THE EXHAUST IS NOT EVEN WELDED PROPERLY AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/08) */ Mr.***** came in for some exh work on 7-21-22. He requested that we romove his mufflers and install some custom tips. Mr.***** was present at the time of installation,we brought Mr.***** out to personally show us how he would like the tips which he did. That was what we did.Mr.***** was totally aware of the credit/debit card fees they are posted in easily visible locations, on the front door entry as well as on the main wall as well as on the service counter. I also explained the fee to him as well while going over the work order. Mr. ***** returned the following morning, complaining the one tip was crooked, we then put Mr. ***** ahead of customers that were waiting for repair and corrected the problem, while correcting the problem ,Mr ***** decided he wanted the tips set in further not being out so far, I explained that I would have to rework the pipes again to make it that way and that I would be happy to do that for him. I explained that I had a couple jobs to get finished and I could do it. Mr.***** became upset at myself as well as my employees, we are a small shop that runs off a schedule as well as walk ins. we strive for customer satisfaction. As far as the check engine light with the cat converters we did not do any work to the primary cats or the down stream o2 sensors. We would be happy to reinstall Mr. *****'s factory muffler back on as well as refund his money .we would need are Tips exhaust pipe and exhaust hangers returned. DEAR SIR'S OR MADAM'S RAINBOW MUFFLER NOW WANTS TO REINSTALL AS WELL AS REFUND MY MONEY BUT WANT THE MUFFLER TIPS AND HANGERS BACK WHICH HAS A VALUE OF ABOUT $200 DOLLARS COMPARED WITH MY STOCK MUFFLER WHICH SELLS USED AT $800 AND A COST OF A NEW O2 SENSOR PLUS LABOR WHICH IN IN THE RANGE OF $3200.00 PLUS THE BAD WELDS ON THE EXHAUST PIPES AND TIPS WHICH YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE ARE INFERIOR IT SEEMS THAT THE PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE AND IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS WERE NOT CLEARLY POSTED I AM WELL AWARE THAT CUSTOMERS ARE ENTITLED TO A FULL REFUND FOR BASED ON THE SLIGHTLY AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR AND TOTAL LACK OF RESPECT FROM ESTABLISHMENT RETURNING TO SAID LOCATION IS OUT OF THE QUESTION DUE THE LAST INTERACTION I HAD WISH FOR A FULL REFUND ASAP IF NOT I WILL BE FORCED TO PROCEED IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT HIRE A LAWYER FOR FURTHER LITIGATION AND BEGIN THE PROCESS TO HAVE ALL EXPENSES COVERED WHICH WILL TAKE TIME AND ENERGY TO DEFEND A CASE PLUS COURT FILING FEES ECT.I WILL PROMPTLY PURSUE MY LEGAL REMEDIES IF THE RECIPIENT FAILS TO REFUND MY MONEY IN A TIMELY MANNER I WILL PROMPTLY FILE THIS CASE IN COURT AND ASSUMING I WIN AND OBTAINA MONEY JUDGEMENT WHICH WILL BE PART OF PUBLIC RECORD AVAILABLE TO CREDIT AGENCIES I WILL PROMPTLY FOLLOW ALL LEGAL AVENUES TO COLLECT IT PLEASE MAKE THIS RIGHT SO THAT THESE ISSUES DUE NOT HAPPEN TO OTHER CUSTOMERS AS FOR CREDIT DEBIT FEES CLEARLY POSTED THEY WERE NOT WHICH IS A AN UNFAIR AND DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICE PROHIBITED BY FLORIDA LAW. FLORIDA STATUTES 501.0117 CREDIT CARDS TRANSACTIONS IN WHICH A SELLER OR LESSOR PROHIBITED FROM IMPOSING A SURCHARGE (1)A seller or lessor in a sales or lease transaction may not impose a surcharge on the buyer or lessee for electing to use a credit card in lieu of payment by cash, check, or similar means, if the seller or lessor accepts payment by credit card. WE HAVE HIS ORIGINAL MUFFLER THAT HE REQUESTED TO REMOVE AS WELL THAT HE CAN HAVE BACK. WE CAN INSTALL IT OR HE CAN GO TO ONE OF OUR MANY LOCATIONS TO HAVE IT INSTALLED OR TO WHEREVER HE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT INSTALLED.CANT REFUND SOMETHING WITHOUT HAVING THE PARTS RETURNED. WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO GET CREDIT ON OUR END FOR THE PARTS IF INDEED THEY ARE DEFECTIVE. TAIL PIPES AND TIPS DONT CAUSE 02 SENSORS AND CAT CONVERTERS TO GO BAD.
