      We booked a reservation and left a $20 deposit. After taking our dog to the vet for a physical, he recommended, due to her age and medical conditon, she should not be boarded in a multi dog environment as there is an unknown respirtory virus of unknown origin running through the area. With more than three weeks before her boarding appointment, I tried to cancel, with a letter fromthe vet, stating those facts. Not like it was a day or two before the boarding was to take palce. I was told that it was a cancellation and my deposit would not be refunded. We have been boarding her there since they opened and have even recommended them. This is a terrible business practice, not to mention how rude these folks are on the phone. Due to their attitudes, it is very suspect how the might be treating the animals in their care. I WILL be in touch with the Attoney Generals office as they cannot charge for SERVICES not rendered Think twice, folks, about using this place.

      I received a call from the office manager stating that my dog was missing his vaccination records and that his boarding (which started today until the 24) would be cancelled if I did not email ot ASAP.. I emailed the certificate (this had been sent before). I called to confirm that she had received it. She said she did and we hung up. I arrived to the pet lodge at 1 and had to send my son to request a loner leash because I had forgotten ours at home. The lady was really rude to him (he is 13 years old and very well mannered) and requested my presence. When my son came outside he said I needed to bring our pet at 12 noon and that the lady said she had told me that over the phone. I told him she never said that and proceeded to go inside the lodge. The office manager was very rude and even raised her voice at me in front of another customer who was there having a try out for their dog. I told her in a very respectful manner that she never stated drop off times and that she only requested vaccination records. I politely requested the owners name and email and she refused to give it to me. This must have bothered her because she followed me out and yelled in the parking lot she was not boarding my dog. She really did me a favor because from the moment I saw her demeanor I had a bad vibe and was not going to leave my pet there. I'm glad I saw their true colors. If that was how they treated a paying customer... imagine how they are going to treat your babies that cannot speak... blessing in disguise. We ended up at the wonderful Green K9. Our pet is so happy there and I am at peace that he will be loved and well taken care of. As for that lady, she needs a course in customer service and as a business owner I would not want anyone like that working for me.
