I hired reliable electric to come and put a surge protector on the outside of my home June 6th, 2022. It cost me $265 which I thought was reasonable. Long story short I need to replace my main electric panel outside and had called Reliable Electric 4-5 times for an estimate but no one returned my calls. I finally sent this email to them and they called back within 5 minutes.I've been trying to get a hold of you for 2 weeks and you're not returning my calls. I need an estimate on replacing my main panel outside that you put a surge protector on. My insurance company won't insure me otherwise. I was also told that that surge protector should have never been put on that 39 year old panel. I feel you took my $265 and ran. Please call at ************. Thank you, ***************************** at ***************************. ***************. And then I was told they're busy for MONTHS.... Really. Then why not just call me back and tell me that.I've had other electricians come and give me quotes and was told the surge protector that was put on my main panel isn't working and second I didn't even need that because I already had one connected to the meter and one on the air conditioner. So why didn't Reliable Electric tell me this???? So I proceeded to send them another email to let them know what I've been told and have not heard anything from them. This is the email I sent.You know it's pretty amazing that I called you 4-5 times and never got a response but as soon as I sent this email you responded right away. Anyways I've had a few electricians out giving me estimates on my main panel and I was told the surge protector that you put on the box is not working and one even said I didn't need it because I already have one connected to my meter and one on my air conditioner. So what I would like is for you to come get your surge protector and refund my money that I so foolishly wasted. Thank you, *****
