Contacted him January 17, 2022 to show me how to operate a new pump the previous pool maintenance put in that was different than I was familiar with! I was going to be listing my house to sell and wanted it running for pictures! He quoted a price to redo the pool but I told him I didn't want to put any more money into it! 1st he turned the pump on with water level to low, and it started making a noise because no water was running through it, naturally, he said, " You need a new pump! And we need to replace the filters! For $1250, up and running and chemicals He wanted deposit, he went by my daughter's business to pick up check because I was taking care of my husband, recovering with issues from severe covid pneumonia! He knew I was trying to handle this alone, because my husband wasn't able! Then next day went by to her business an gave her another bill for $1250 so we had paid $2250! 2nd. He wanted to drain it and clean it good! He pressure washed the fiberglass sides and Marxist bottom and it blasted the tiles off, so I have to redo that and repaint the pool! We gave him another deposit $3075 total paid $5325. I have all texts messages regarding this issue since he had told me he had good insurance, I asked him to send his ins. Adjustor over to see what was happening! He said "Good luck with that! I don't have insurance!"! After damaging the pool, he has left me with a mess and damages of will cost over 40,000 to repair! As of this date Nov. 19, 2022, ignored my calls and texts! He's never refunded my money! I tried putting water back into the pool because it was cracking and started flaking off and underground water was pushing up through the bottom and sides! Water was running out on the ground from a pipe he had cut off of the return flow! He's left me a mess and no one wants to go behind him unless they just start over and going to cost me so much! He took advantage of both me and my daughter knowing I wasn't going to bother my husband with it! He shouldn't get away with this, I can't afford an attorney with all our hospital bills and now he's caused us not to be able to sell our house at a good market time! I hope you can help me dissolve this nightmare without any more expense! Thank you!
