I called Crystal Tractor on April 25 for annual service on my mower. The parts guy assured me they had all the materials needed to do this and change hydro fluid and oil. I was promised it would take a couple days. I brought my Tigercat in the next day. The parts guy assured me again that they had all the parts and materials. May 2nd, I got a call to authorize $350 for the maintenance and I gave the ok. They had not even started work, but assured me it would take a couple days. May 4th, I called to check up. They transferred me to a tech who tells me that he personally took off the old hydro filter, drained the hydraulic fluid, and then realized they didn’t have a replacement filter. He had no idea when they’d get it. May 6th (Friday), I called again. The parts guy told me he was gonna "check somethin" and call back in a bit. It didn’t happen. May 9, I called and spoke to the manager, *****. I told him I couldn’t wait any longer and I wanted them to put the old filter back in, fill fluid, and make it go so I can trailer it off his property and prevent further damage. He said he’d call back. ***** called me after a bit and told me they had not removed the filter or drained the fluid from the hydraulic system like the tech had told me. I then told him I want my mower back, don’t do anything else to it. ***** assured me that the mower was working, and made it a point to tell me he’d remove the extra charges for the hydraulic filter/fluid change. They lied to me and held my mower for a week against my wishes, but I wanted it over. I called back to pay and got a total of $326.47, only $25.53 less. I asked why only $25.53 for hydraulic fluid and filter and she tried to tell me it was because those parts were part of a kit they used. (the kit both the parts guy and the other tech told me did NOT include those materials) I paid and have since found that Crystal will charge about $150 to do the hydro work. I want at least $100 refunded to my card for what they overcharged.
