      I opened an SECURED LOAN ( Account #********** ) account to rebuild my credit with Trustco Bank ******************** (*********************************************************************************) around Jul 2020. I made on time payments consistently for two years and decided to close my SECURED ACCOUNT Jul 2022. I was told by the representative at the branch before closing to send a letter indicating my request for my funds to be returned to me (document attached). All request was accepted and I received my funds the following month.Several months after, I noticed Trustco placed a 30 day late payment on my credit report and indicated the account was closed in September. On one of my credit report, it indicated I was 60 days late in August. THIS WAS TOTALLY ABSURD! I reached out to the branch and corporate offices on several times only to receive a run around saying they couldn't find my information. Once, I finally got through to corporate, they sent a response back to the branch saying that the were not going to fix the error on my credit report.I'm requesting the company to keep my positive payments and remove the adverse (negative) payment error WHEN I CLOSED MY ACCOUNT from my credit report. This is a clear violation of my consumer rights under 15 U.S. Code 1681a, 15 U.S. Code 1681a1 and also 15 U.S. Code ****b Please reverse this late payment from my consumer report and update this account as soon as possible.***All Rights Reserved under the Fair Credit Reporting Act****

      I recently visited Trustco Windermere location, I had an appointment with Mr. H******** the branch manager to open a business account, he took all my personal information and company information then had me sign several papers that he printed out, he then told me that he would have to get back with me on opening the business account that he needs to get approval, which was lies. After not hearing from him, I called the office, he never returned my calls, after emailing him, he reached out to me and told me that Trustco will not do business with me because of compliance issues, I went to another Trustco branch and had my account opening, no issues. I called Mr.H******** and asked him to tell my why he refused to do business with me, he said over and over, it's not you, it's not personal. It's my compliance department, I said I believe it is personal and he said no it's not, why you think it's personal, I told him another Trustco location did business with me, I then told him I will file a complaint and it said pls don't, let it go, you don't have to do that. I believe his decision was influenced by an employee of his Pearline G******* J*****, I believe it was personal that's why he kept telling me it's not personal. Now I am asking for termination for these two individuals because the haven't personal information and I believe I am at the risk of been harm by these two individuals. I have reached out to Trustco headquarters in Longwood Fl , spoken to a Melinda who do not seem like these two employees did anything wrong, she speak to me like it's no issue, when I asked for all the documents I sign , she said she made a note of it but she's not sure if I will get it. Now I understand everything is sign electrically. These two individual have my signature, Dl , SS. They did not act in the best interest of Trustco, I don't see why Trustco will keep these employees on, to damages there company reputation. I felt like I was been discriminated.
