              STAY AWAY FROM THEM Everybody's Business recommended Al's **** Carpentry.According to ******* at Everybodys Business, no vetting is done on the businesses they provide to customers. She says they include anyone who says they have a business.Al's **** Carpentry ("****" being a joke) was to finish existing steps.They did a TERRIBLE job. I paid the crew but when I complained to the man who quoted the job, he stated they provide a 'functional' job. One s**** in places, uneven cuts, scabbing 2x4 rather than a 10 foot piece, etc. just look at the three pictures I uploaded with this complaint. $500?A complete rip-off.He left without remorse, knowing I had more work IF he would have them come out and fix it. He said if I gave him more work he would have them fix it. I said fix it and I'll get you more work! He left quickly without a word.Everybodys Business would not give me the address of Al's **** Carpentry even though they did not know if it was a business or personal address.

              In Dec 2023 I called a business person who was listed in this advertising flyer and wound up losing an expensive and beautiful chandelier that had been in our family since 1995 and one we moved from home to home. When we moved to ******* we brought the chandelier with us hoping to find someone to install it in our new home. We called someone listed here who stated he was bonded and insured, he was neither, in fact, he has a visual Impairment and is still driving. He has macular degeneration and told us he didnt renew his license because of his eyesight. Upon trying to install the chandelier, he dropped it and it shattered to pieces. I called Everybodys Business, etc. and informed them of this. I suggested they verify if a person is indeed licensed and insured. I was hoping they would take action. But they continue to advertise this business entity and someone else will suffer the consequences.
