I contacted All Roofing And Construction to do a full reroof on my mobile home with the total contract amount being just under $8,000. While working on my roof one of the guys fell through the roof into my living room and caused my framing to my drop ceiling to break down in one area,******* is still leaking in many places that were not leaking before they came..my drop down cellar is now sagging in all areas of my living room..I have contacted them asking them to come fix what they have messed up and the reply I got was that they would not come ************** anything until I paid the over $16,000.And they have now taken further action and so have I..on a bill they charged over $9,000 for wood and lumber in which I have photos of them taking all the wood with them when they were finished.This company is a scam to the elderly and after reading the other complaints for inflation of prices I believe something should be done!I will be seeing you in court very soon!Business response

We have tried to call her on several occasions. She does not take our calls. She owes us for the entire roof and has fabricated this whole story to avoid paying. I however as a good and honest business have paid all my bills including her roof with no downpayment from her at all. We are very reputable, and I am offended she would say otherwise. My cell number is ************. I left that number for her just 10 minutes ago. It is true that I have taken the necessary steps to ensure that I have the right to Lein the house, however I haven't done so yet because I want to settle this account amicably.Initial Complaint

We contacted All Roofing & Construction to come fix the roof leak on the back side of our house. They came out and gave us a quote of $3500. This was acceptable due to the massive amount of water coming from the roof leak. They told us they would replace the rotted wood, shingles, reattach the flashing. They were going to put us on the schedule so we knew when they would be out to fix this issue. After a few weeks I called several times to see when they would be out. No response. On a Monday they showed up unannounced to fix the roof. I wasn't home and my wife was sleeping due to working nights. We would have not scheduled on a Monday. I rushed home to find a worker on the roof taking off shingles. I watched as they removed shingles, replaced them and attached the same flashing. They were here for about an hour. No wood was replaced, After seeing what they repaired, about 8 shingles and reattached the same flashing, we thought the invoice would be much lower than $3500. I called the owner Tate and asked for an itemized invoice to see what actually cost $3500. He said he didn't provide that and that he didn't know what was done to the roof. He still has not called me back. I did pay the amount owed to avoid a lien on the house. I don't see how an hour of work for 2 people, 8 shingles and reattaching the flashing cost $3500. They did not do what they told us they would do. It is no longer leaking but now we have a room that is damp, and smells from the rotten wood they covered up.Business response

We did what we were contracted to do. The repair is done and done correctly. We cannot help that it was done faster than they thought it should take. The roof is not leaking, and we did not cover up any rotten wood. The complaint is unwarranted.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The complaint is warranted. They promised to replace the rotten wood and damage from the leak. They just sealed it off. Where the water leaked into the house is turning brown and smells. There are cracks and deteriorating drywall from what they covered up.

We did everything we were contracted to do. We did not cover up any rotten wood. The staining is from the leak prior to us going there. We were not contracted to paint. The roof is fixed. There are no more leaks. If there is an odor, it will go away now that the leak is fixed. Some primer and paint will make the whole area look better. I cannot do anything else for them. The complaint is frivolous, if not fictitious.Initial Complaint

On April 2022, All Roofing completed a new roof (or re-roofing) on the property at***********************************. I paid All Roofing $22,000+ for the project (see attachments) From April 2022 to October 2022, we kept hearing rainwater going through the house, as well as noticed damage to the front stone veneers and mulch. Unable to see the damage inside the house as well as, unsuspected that a new roof leak is already leaking, eventually the damage became clear inside the garage on the ceiling, wall, and foundation. I called, and emailed several times and got the run around without any resolution to the leaking roof, the damage inside the garage, and the damage outside on the stone veneers, We hired a handyman and a gutter company recently to evaluate and repair the damage. More invoices and pics can be uploaded. The All Roofing Company is aware by the damage.Business response

First, I am grateful for their honest response. Please note that I paid $230 to repair the damage inside of the garage that was caused by or due to the leak in the roof. The roofing company sent their rep Mr. JR who took pics of the inside of the garage for their record. Also, I fixed the leaky gutters at my own expense. I attached the bill from the handyman who fixed the inside of the garage for $170 + $60 (sent via *****), so I am asking for the $230. I guess I will consider my payments for the gutters as loss? 04/27/21, Amount $3500.00 Roof replace not completed. Been calling them since job was done but they have not return any of my calls or text. They were suppose to come out and inspect the job but they never did. I explain they was a tile lifted and the cement they put in the holes needed to be finish. They said they would come out and take care of the problem Last text to them was on 10/05/21. No reply.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/26) */ We completed your job and it no longer leaks! All Roofing And Construction removed your tiles replaced all rotted and deteriorated wood. We installed new underlayment and fixed flashing! When we were doing the job you came out and asked one of our workers to seal a hole where possible critters would get into your attic. It was not in the scope of work to be performed at Your property but we did it upon your request without question or cost. We try to Exceed expectations when possible. You are now unhappy that the Material that was used does not match your home and would like it painted. Again which was outside the scope of work that was contracted. As for the Tile it is against the wall and has a piece of lead flashing underneath so it does sit a little higher than the ones in the field.To be expected. You were not Pleasant to the employees. You are also quoted from a competitor company. Their scope of work was to put tar and mesh under the tile To fix the leak for the same price as our scope of work. Atfer the work was done I asked them to come out and inspect the job. The work I'm indicating has to do with the job they didn't finish. This is part of there work. When your guy came out to collect the other half I told him that when you come out to inspect the work I would him the check.He was the one that wasn't pleasant. We did a wonderful job, as promised. We had to correct some issues with the original application and install the necessary flashings to make sure it did not leak again. There is nothing that can be done about the flashings. As for the painting, that has nothing to do with the job we hired on for. I don't know of any way to satisfy this customer. She said we didn't come out or respond to her complaints but we did 3 different times. I am eager to resolve this issue however and willing to negotiate a resolution.
