I had blood panels done on 3/30 for a general checkup I was doing. Everything was fine. Exams were submitted monday 4/1 I got my results back. They then recommended I get additional testing done. At the cost of 100$. I was unfortunately driving to work so I asked to allow me time to arrive and I would call them back to discuss the testing. This was at 8:04am. Due to my work load I never called them back. This morning (4/2) I was charged 120$ for those exams that I never consented to. When I called to see why they charged me, I was told at 3:57 notes were put in that I consented to the exams and that the labs were sent. I never spoke to them about consenting and find it off I randomly consented 8h after we spoke. When I asked to please cancel the panel sind I didn't consent and refund me my money. They said it's too late. There's nothing they can do! So I was robbed of 120$ when I never wanted or consented for additional testing. They said I consented at 3:57 when they called me at 3:56 and I never picked up.Business response

We are sorry for your dissatisfaction. However, two nurse practitioner providers witnessed your consent to the additional tests on your phone call when results were shared with you on the morning of 4/1/2024.Unfortunately, after we submitted the request to the lab for additional testing, we were unable to rescind the request as the additional testing was already performed. The add on testing is completed by a certain timeframe to assure accurate results are obtained. If you did not wish to have them added at that time, you could have returned at a later date to do those labs if you preferred which would result in a second venipuncture and delay in results. We did attempt to contact the lab upon your request, but they were unable to cancel the tests. We sincerely apologize that we were not able to meet your expectations.
