I signed up for soccer for my 4 yr old last week, I contacted to try and get a refund because I no longer have a vehicle to get my daughter to and from practice. I was told that there are no refund because I did not request it two weeks prior. Explained to them that I signed up just last week. He offered to put the amount paid for this month and apply it to next months. I simply stated that I do not know if I will have a vehicle come next month.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/17) */ After speaking with customer and her situation I provided an alternative solution and to credit her the $45 registration fee to be applied next month. Per our policy and a policy she read acknowledge and agreed to prior to completing the registration. States Refunds are not provided once a session begins. In some cases which prevents a player from participation and medical documentation from physician a credit for the remaining classes or session will be granted to be used immediately for the following session. If credit are not used for next session they can not be used for any future session. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance or non-participation at a scheduled class. Refunds may be applied when the withdrawal of a student is received in writing 2 weeks prior to the start of the registered session. Should Soccer Gemz find it necessary to de-register a child, due to non-compliance, bullying or any other harmful act towards a coach or child a refund will not be issued. A $25.00 administration fee will be applied to any refund issued and additional deductions may apply. 1. The session had started the day she contacted our office and 2. It was not a medical emergency preventing the player from participating. 3. After she refused to accept the credit for the next month she used Covid as a third excuse for refund. In addition the refund policy clearly states refunds are not provided when registrations are completed 2weeks or less from the session starting. Therefore it does not matter when she registered if it was within the 2 week period of the session starting as she stated it was a week before the session starting. All of this information is clearly stated and the customer must read and accept prior to payment for registration.
