3/4/23 I arrived and called as there was a sign on the door. a man answered and asked me if I had an apmt to which I responded that when I called the night before and earlier that day, neither time was I told that I needed an appointment which is why I’m here so he hung up the phone and answer the door. So after calling the number, a man answered and asked me if I had an appointment and I explained to him that I called multiple times the night before and the day of to confirm that I needed an appointment and each time I was told that I did not need an appointment. At that point he responded and said “well we have a lot of construction going on right now”. I looked for the said “construction” but saw absolutely nothing. So again he tells me I need to watch out for the construction at which point he begins opening the door and exclaimed very loudly “Oh man look what you did. I told you there was construction everywhere. You just stepped all in it that’s going to cost thousands of dollars to replace.” With that being said, I have never been so shocked or disrespected by a medical “professional” ever in life. Upon his belligerence, l responded and said “there is no barricade or signage so how was I supposed to know that the “construction” was a 5*5 slab of concrete that was drying in the walkway”. He then said “don’t you see that the door says closed” to which I responded and said I called MULTIPLE times and was told that I could come and was told nothing about about “supposed” construction. He then slammed the door and told me to wait outside. At this point I should’ve left, but again I was in excruciating pain. He then opens the door, tells me it’s $195 and that insurance is not accepted on weekends meanwhile he looks up my insurance and says “oh you haven’t used any of your insurance benefits this year”. He charged me $480 for a 2 minute visit, won’t respond to any emails or calls as I have requested a claims form on numerous occasions and have yet to receive it.

My daughter was recommended for a root canal by Palm Springs dental. During my search for a pediatric dentist to do the root canal after hours, her pain was 10/10. We sought treatment at Maitland Square Dentistry in July 2022. Dentist H**** provided the relief my daughter needed. We just enrolled in health insurance and did not have all the details on us and would follow up with the card details afterwards and paid $7k out of pocket for her relief. We called provided the details and said it would be ran through. My husband physically walked in the EOB asking for it to be processed, he said he was short staff and would handle himself. Between July to October my daughter complained her mouth continued to hurt. We attempted to revisit, but was impossible to get in contact with Dr. H****, things did not feel right and we went back to Palm Springs dental for a second opinion which were told the root canal implant was done poorly. Emailed Dr H**** who took it personal as I did and requested she come back, extracted the tooth free of charge. We have been since after July requesting the insurance claim to be processed on the failed tooth with no results. Paid $7k out of pocket and no good faith results regarding filing my claim , aside the extraction. No call, no email. I would like my insurance claim filed, and recoup my paid benefits reimbursement due.
