I purchased an extended Warranty but decided to go a different route and cancelled it 2 days later, within the 30 days time allowed. When I called *********benz the lady told me it takes 8 to 9 weeks that they would have to determine the administrative charges. What administrative charges? I was told a full refund. When I called my ***************** ****** at they told me they never received a cancellation and had they received it they would have refund it with 24 hours. I called ************ and ************. Last Vin # FA497790.When I called back and asked for a supervisor at ********, the lady disconnected the call.I can't wait 8 to 9 weeks, to get my refund, which should be 100% refundable. This makes no since. How can Veritas refund me when they have never received the cancellation order. Why is ******** dragging their feet. It was only 2 days later,.

      Customer response

      05/29/2024

I spoke to my bank and they have reached out to ******** and gave me a temporary refund.

I also, called ********-benz and spoke to the person who sold me the warranty.  He said I will get back a full refund, he's just not the one who issues the refund.

My bank may have spoken to someone I am not sure.  ********-benz is not one who feels they have to respond, like being above the law.

We can closed this for now, see how the bank handles it.

On March 4th 10am I went to Mercedes Benz of Orlando specifically ask for a Guided Test, checking for failure between a harness and solenoid for the oil pressure control system on my vehicle, in which the MB Advisor personnel handling my car (*******) insisted that their Diagnostic also includes a guided test. With this I agreed to go along with the service. Instead I received a Quick Testreport with a random video from the internet (not of my car) and no Guided Test or report completed as promised, I was forced to pay $259.95.A Guided Test purpose is to pin point where the through further testing beyond just a diagnostic test. (e.g. checking connection between harness and Solenoid , checking Ohms and resistance, etc.I spoke to ******* first then his supervisor ******************* over at ******** of Orlandos ******************* both denied my request for a guided test nor giving me my money back. At this time lm requesting a full refund.

I purchased a vehicle from this ********** and they sold me the vehicle knowing that it had problems I purchased the vehicle on March 1, 2023, and had it delivered to *****. On March 7, *************************************************************** and they seen that it had multiple lights on the dash but proceeded to clear those lights off and still send me the car. I just received that paperwork on November 30, 2023 upon request and it clearly states that there were multiple warning lights on the dash and it was recommended to take to the ********** to be fixed. When I purchased this car I was not informed that there was anything wrong with the car, but they clearly knew something was wrong with it and cleared the codes on the vehicle so that I would think the car didnt have any problems. Three days after receiving the car the check engine light came on and I reached out to them and they were no help. My car is currently in the Kia ********** shop with multiple warning lights on the dash, the same thing that was on the inspection that they did before sending me the car and they are suspecting water damage to the wire harness. It is not going to be covered under warranty because it is an outside factor but the ********** that sold me the car should not have sold me a car knowing that it had a problems days before they sent it to me here in ***** , I have reached out and they will not respond to me. I should not be responsible for having to pay out-of-pocket for these damages when they knew that they were selling me a car that had problems and it was not disclosed to me that the car had multiple problems.
