We own two properties that are managed by Resort Management. In January, the Management Company for one of the properties changed. I had issued a check for the quarterly condo fees marked with the property address for which it was intended. Resort Management did credit the check to the wrong account. I have spoken several times with a representative of Resort Management and emailed them several times to put the funds into the correct account without any success. The new property management company for this condo never received the condo fee, as Resort management kept it. It shows as a credit on our other property. How is this company allowed to cash checks clearly marked with the property address to which it is credited? Significantly as I had clarified the situation with them and asked to move the funds to the correct account. The new management company put me on notice of the missing funds. They never were transferred to the new management company. We had another issue with Resort Management from the beginning as they charged us an Estoppel fee paid by the ************** I provided the closing statement and a copy of the cashed check from the ************** and they never rectified the situation.I request that the funds are transferred to the new management company. I believe they have no legal right to keep the funds.

I own a condo within the Southwind @ *** N. ******* ****** ***** ******* *** Mgmt services are contracted with Resort Management (RM). Many condo owners within the association have a main home in another state so we rely on the RM to carryout various services, which they are responsible, in our absence. Earlier this year discovered that termites were damaging my unit. I initial inquired on 5/20/21. I received no reply/acknowledgement and sent numerous subsequent inquiries (emails/phone calls) to property manager, Rigoberto R. (RR). No replies or acknowledgements received. In Sept. finally made contact with RR via phone who was rude, unprofessional and provided false promises to resolve. He questioned legitimacy of the termites but finally agreed to schedule treatment. He never carried out his obligations. I was forced to travel to my FL property on 10/15/21 from IL. The extermination co. informed me that termites had severely damaged the door trim/wood structure/adjacent internal support due to the delay. His substantial delay & lack of due care caused unnecessary continued damage. Also resulted in unnecessary time, expense & distress. On 10/21/21 I contacted RM due to RR's failure & another issue observed within my condo (new cracks/peeling paint observed on a select wall within the bedroom). Suspected that this is caused by an adjoining unit (adjacent or above) due to potential leakage or other issue. Only mgmt. co has access to these other units to inspect the potential underlying issue. I asked that RR's supervisor, Matt D. (MD), be informed of RR's continued failure and unprofessionalism as well as the other issue and that he contact me promptly. To date MD has also failed to reply as well. Both RR & MD have failed to perform their contractual obligations causing unnecessary damage to my condo unit. Their continued failure has caused me unnecessary financial and emotional distress. They have been unprofessional, nonresponsive and unreliable.
