I dropped my ******** off for a new rotor, brake, and caliper to be replaced on July 26th 2024. When I dropped the vehicle off, everything was working fine and had no other issues. When I picked the vehicle up on July 29th, my CUE system (navigation/dashboard screen) was off completely and not working. The Screen started to display messages saying that the system needed to be updated. I brought my car back the next day July 30th 2024, and after waiting three hours, they finally told me they would look at it, but "no promises". I told them I don't want them to do anything other than give me my car back as it was when it was dropped off, other than the *****, break, and caliper that had already been fixed. They plugged in their computor to my vehicle and stated that they could not fix the problem they caused. Instead of accepting blame and attempting to work out a resolution, they tried to send me to a local radio shop or told me to take it to ******** at my own expense. I am a business owner myself and I understand that in some situations there's nothing you can personally do, but to send a customer away after causing an issue and telling them they're on their own is just wrong. Not only in the business aspect but also morally. I really tried talking with them before leaving in a professional polite manner to give them a chance to do the right thing.Business response

To whom it may concern,
This individual thinks that his radio is part of the brake system, we did brake work on his car not anything to do with the radio. There was no electrical work done of any kind. I asked him about his radio and he told me that he had already fixed it with a very cheap part from amazon and told me that after he fixed it it was working fine, I said to him that parts for this car cost alot more that 25 dollars and buy automotive parts of this kind on amazon is never a good thing. I tried to help him the best I could at no charge however we are not a radio shop thats why I sent him to a pro. He seems to think that i should be responsible for it since I did brakes on his car. I really have no way of even knowing if his radio was working when he brought it in because we don't check every system in a car before we start to work on a car, no shop does. I will tell you that in this business one of the most frequent things we hear from people is the term " well it wasn't like that when I brought it in. But being in the business you are in I'm sure you have heard that before. This is my response so before casting decision you should also know that this "professional business man" after this was calling my business over & over again without saying anything when we answered so many times that I had to block his number then he started doing the same thing with another phone number that I also had to block. Hope this helps
