We bought a home in *************** in August and took over the prior owner's landscaping contract with Master Grass. The home is a short term rental for us, and I lived in the home from ******* 15-February 19. I did not see Master Grass onsite the entire time I was there and the grass was very long before I left. On February 24, my husband paid an invoice from Master Grass for $80 to cover February grass clipping (attached). My daughter drove by the house on February 25 or 26th and told us the grass had not been cut. On February 27, contacted Master Grass and requested a list of the dates of grass service for ******* and February, as well as a list of services our contract included (the former owner did not provide that detail to us). I was told they would get back to me the next day. I contacted Master Grass multiple times and the woman I was dealing with (wife of the owner) repeatedly said she would get back to me with information and she did not. I also asked for specifics on when my grass would be cut. We had renters coming to the property and it looked terrible. On February 27 we received a complaint from our *** that our grass was too long. I contacted Master Grass again and was told the grass would be cut either March 3 or 7th. They did not cut the grass. On March 8th the *** had our grass cut by another contractor. I contacted Master Grass in text and email and informed them we were cancelling our contract with them. I also asked that I be credited for our February payment because I believe they were charging us for work they did not provide. They have not responded to any of my correspondence since I sent the communications that we were canceling our contract. I have copies of text and email communications if needed.
