This transaction I am complaining about started 8 months. Promised delivery date to be in 2 months, its been 8 months.I requested sod and dirt fill in because of soil quality. Business procrastination tactics are not business like at all. I started with one salesman, but he was fired shortly after I started working with him. I was informed they did not have the documentation about the soil and sod. It would seem that they would work with me since it took 8 months to deliver when they are advertising 2 month delivery. My home sat on the lot in Mrianna deteriorating for 3 months. Now the bottom is starting to to fall out and they don't want to address any of my problems.Now that the have received their money, I am nobody. Some of the money is coming from the State Housing Initiative Program(SHIP), state and federal funds.Business response

We have a video taped closing agreement, a signed purchase agreement and no where was there any mention of sod. We go through these steps to ensure all customers are treated fairly and we have went above and beyond for Mrs. *****. However, out of the goodness of our heart we have contracted two pallets of sod to be placed on her property to help with erosion. Thank you.Initial Complaint

Chris (somehow got the job to run the show) has lied to us on MULTIPLE Occasions, can't seem to tell the truth, after contacting multiple times, the peaks of our trailer are still open. Does not include simple charges with mortgage, forcing the buyer to come out of pocket for things usually included in mortgage. Has ZERO sense of communication, can not seem to give an honest reason for things not going as he says. We have paid two mortgage payments and haven't been able to spend a single night in our home. Told us the inspection was scheduled for Tuesday, they cant even get here till Friday as long as we come sign paperwork (found out by us calling the inspector office). I've contacted timberline main office, they called him to let him know we were upset, same issues continued. Our home is incomplete and apparently can't pass inspection and this company is giving us every lying excuse in the book as to why.Business response

(Response) Absolutely ridiculous. Never lied to the customer about anything. Customer and wife have been constantly updated throughout the process. He just doesn't like the answers to their questions. (Accusation) "Does not include simple charges with mortgage, forcing the buyer to come out of pocket for things usually included in mortgage." (Response) There are NO "simple charges"! You either you agreed to pay for it or you financed it in! There is NOTHING that is "usually included". Clearly explained to both husband and wife at closing. Customer expecting something for nothing. (Accusation) "Has ZERO sense of communication, can not seem to give an honest reason for things not going as he says. We have paid two mortgage payments and haven't been able to spend a single night in our home." (Response) My communication is excellent! We have maintained constant communications with these buyers throughout the process. We ALWAYS notify the buyers it could take an estimated 4-6 weeks to complete all improvements. (Response) Incorrect! Inspection was already scheduled by the time he made his complaint. The process was clearly explained. (Accusation) "I've contacted timberline main office, they called him to let him know we were upset, same issues continued. Our home is incomplete and apparently can't pass inspection and this company is giving us every lying excuse in the book as to why. (Response) The salesperson that sold customer his house has all email and text to verify we have been in contact with him, his wife and all local offices. This is an unfortunate situation. I clearly explained to Cody on Oct. 2nd the reason why his inspection was delayed. Timberline Homes prides ourselves on excellent customer service. We will continue to strive to keep customers as updated as possible.
