The racechip caused a check engine light and failure of components. The seller claimed that their product does not cause any check light and yet when I explained it only has a check light if the wiring harness provided is plugged in, they responded that's impossible their product does not have any problems and cannot cause a check engine light. I got a check engine light code for the sensor it is plugged into and when removed the check engine light goes away. They advised me to send the product back and no refund would be given and no changes would be made. It's a scam stay away, it voids manufacturer warranty and causes problems that could end up in a complete failure of your vehicle. Please stay away, the warranty doesn't mean anything if they don't acknowledge that they're products can cause issues. They offer a warranty but it's worthless because they say their product cannot cause damage and therefore they do not need to warranty the products. They did know real diagnostics they only claim that their product cannot cause damages or a check engine light. This is absolutely false. I explained, when the provided wiring harness is plugged in I get a low boost, and boost pressure sensor error which limis me to 4psi (stock is 16+). When I unplug the racechip harness (regardless if the tuner is plugged in) the check engine light goes away and I get full function of my vehicle. After installing and using the chip for about a month, I had to replace my 10,000mile spark plugs and blew a coil. Their response, "Please note that the RaceChip does not damage anything. Maybe the error lights are caused by the RaceChip, but when you remove it before replace the parts you will see that after an reset the lights do not come anymore." In other words, the part doesn't do anything but cause errors. Stay away from the scam

What vehicle, what part number did you order? we sell 150,000 units a year worldwide. If this was a scam we would not be in business for as long as we have. Our products are designed to be safe to install on all stock vehicles and all instructions must be followed when installing our tuners. This review is very vague and provides little to no information regarding your specific vehicle. Did you order off our website or from one of our US dealers? 

Ordered from Race Chip and spent weeks talking to customer support. It was purchased for the specific vehicle which doesn't change the results of check engine light and vehicle going into limp mode and reducing boost PSI to <5psi where stock is over 14psi. the review was not vague and if a company is charging for a product and offering a warranty but when a warranty is needed they say their product cant cause engine problems so no warranty is needed, that is a scam. all I want is my money back and you can have this plastic or i can put it in the trash but it caused damage to my vehicle and made it undrivable. I plugged it back in to prove a point. How can I share these pictures publicly so you can see the multiple error codes it causes and how it limits me to under 5psi? I can't just turn off the software I have to physically unplug it from the vehicle sensors to get the check engine lights to turn off. I couldn't go 5 miles with it plugged in before having to pull over because the car couldn't get up the hill due to the errors caused by the chip. When I send the check engine codes to the support. They claim the product is flawless and I need to fix the problem part and it'll work. The fix is to remove the racechip. The escape doesn't have a problem until the racechip harness is installed and then it goes into limp mode.

How can we start the refund process?

5 days since it has been unplugged, no check engine light and I am getting 15+PSI (i was limited to <5 psi while the Racechip was plugged in regardless if it was turned on or not). The only time my vehicle has ever thrown a code or limited the boost has been with the RaceChip. Please let me know how we can start the refund process.

No check engine light since having unplugged it and removing the hanice for the Race Chip. The car is functioning as it should. I would like a refund as I am not interested in reinstalling the racechip, it makes my car undrivable with limited boost. I live in the mountains and it's dangerous when I'm limited to 50mph in a 75mph
