I bought the Race Chip Tunner from Race chip upon receiving it I had to pay a shop almost 1000$ to install it after installing it and trying i was not given any performance gain or fuel saving as advertised after contacting the company several times trying to figure it out it was still not working, so i asked the company to refer me to a shop who can take it off and send it back to them for refund which they refused to do and wanted me to pay another 1000$ to remove it which was not fair, And now finally when due to some unrelated work my car was at the shop and i have them remove the device and contacted the company to send it back for a refund they are not being any help, The product costs 800$ and dose not work its a whole scam and false adverstiment i want my money backBusiness response

Customer did not order from this facility here in the US
he ordered from the racechip.us website which is provided from Germany and shipped to US retail customers- our facility only handles US dealers who purchase from us so I am unable to assist on this

I am telling you how to get help ! Did you order from a US dealer or from the racechip website ? You said you ordered from the racechip website ; and the email I gave you is how to reach them for assistance! This office did not collect your money or ship you a product ; therefore it’s not an excuse it’s a fact . Reach out to them and they can assist you . I am unable to assist further from here as we are a satellite arm of the company and web orders are processed completely differentCustomer response

Shipment #000280444. I paid for their top and best product. The gts black. To have to biggest impact and due to the support they stated they have. I asked multiple questions about the product before buying and assured support would be provided. The product is not to the expectations advertised on their sight. I reached their support and was only informed that those are the limits of the product. Therefore I would like a refund as I am not satisfied and it's not what advertised. I barely used the product for a month since I did not install the product until a couple of weeks after it was received. They are declining the return option because they started the 30 day return period from the day ordered rather from the day installed. They can see on their system when I registered the product and used it for the 1st time as I also purchased their additional software app option. This is not fair and a good practice of business. I just want to send them back the crappy product and I have all original packaging as well as the product in excellent condition since I didn't use it for 30 days. Their support team are just full of excuses and have not resolved 1 of my inquiries. They can not even provide me the specs of the changes made by the product to my car. Their excuse is we have multiple cars and maps. Great, look for my car and my 7 maps and provide it. If I can't get support I do not want the product. Please issue me a return request. I will pay shipping if needed.Business response

that is not a recognized shipment number from this office located in Florida . It is likely this individual ordered from our website (racechip.us) which is operated and controlled by the corporate headquarters in Germany, We have no impact or control over their operation, nor do we have anything to do with orders placed or shipments from them once placed on the website for order. This person will need to deal directly with Germany and not with us. We only handle shipments to our US dealers, not to retail consumers whatsoever. he has the wrong contact information.Customer response
