Subpar experience from the start. Went for full highlights to blend my roots and remove the brassiness. (FULL HIGHLIGHTS, not a root touch up). I brought a picture of the ash color and effect I wanted. Said I wanted full ash highlights like the picture. Said my stubborn hair needs a long processing time. It gets brassy w/o the correct ash color. The stylist was instructed to "slice" and bleach my roots. (I came for highlights!) I said that wasn't what I wanted and she said that I asked to cover my grey. I repeated that I came for FULL HIGHLIGHTS. After the hair was "processed", the supervisor told the stylist to use "N" toner. Why not "A" (ash) when we discussed ash? When my stylist was done she came back with her her supervisor who said it looked nice (to the stylist -not to me). No one said anything to me (such as "all done", "do you like it?" ), or gave me a mirror so I could see the back of my hair, etc. She just took off the cape. It was bizarre. I said you could still see my roots. They said that it was blended now. If I had taken a before/after picture the biggest difference is more brassiness. I also don't think she "sliced" one part in the back. Sooo, I paid for full highlights but got "sliced" root touch up. After leaving a review on Google, the owner said I could get my hair done w/in 48 hrs. Yet I was told the OPPOSITE while I was there- as a training school there were no redos even if I wasn't happy. Knowing I could have gotten it fixed is very frustrating. Had I known, I would have gone back and given the salon a chance to fix my hair. I have an appt set up for early April get my hair redone elsewhere, and will have to pay to get my hair done. Since it's brassier now there may be an additional cost to get the brassiness out. While you think you'll save money, you may end up losing a lot. Even if the owner says you can get your hair redone, doesn't matter if the staff says there are no redo's. Think carefully.
