I donated blood through my employer in *******, **. I thought it was reputable since my employer is a well-known organization, however, I have regretted my decision. The actions of One Blood since I donated has given me pause and I wonder what exactly did I agree to be done with my blood. I received a certificatet provide me with a gift card. However, the site stated it was doennuntil weeks later on Nov 28. When I went back to the site it now asks me to create a profile and when I did so it, I get an error message to fall a customer service. When I call I have no choice, but, to leave a message. Everything is suspicious about how the company is handling this situation I greatly regret dealing with them. I hope I didn't donate to a company that has unethical morals and intentions.

I received an email thanking me for a blood donation to One Blood on 11/18/23. The email contained this activation code” You will need to enter your one-time unique ID of ************* to activate your account.” I have NEVER donated blood to this organization nor anywhere else in decades. Where did they get my blood from?

i went to donate blood to oneblood on the 17th and they sent me an email advertising that if i donated blood that i would receive a $20.00 gift card and a $25.00 gift card. they said i would receive a $25.00 gift card 3 days later after donating. i waited the 3 days and i never received the gift card. so i contacted one blood rewards and i pressed option 5 over 100 times but no one ever answers the phone i even left voicemails but no one ever even calls me back. and i sent them an email and all they can come up to tell me is something that is not true i have proof they have mailed out postcards and sent emails saying this wont end till December the the 31st i love to help people by donating blood but false advertisement is not right.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/05) */ We regret that this donor had a less than perfect experience during her recent donation appointment and appreciate that she reached out to us regarding the matter. On December 20, 2021 the donor contacted OneBlood's Customer Care team and left a voicemail stating she did not receive the $25 promotional eGift card after donating blood. On December 22, 2021 a OneBlood Customer Care Representative returned the donor's phone call. During the conversation the OneBlood Representative let the donor know we would issue her a new link to claim the eGift card. The new link was sent the same day. A short time later, the donor contacted OneBlood again stating that she was unable to claim the eGift card via the new link and explained that the link was showing the eGift card had already been redeemed. On December 23, 2021 a OneBlood Customer Care Representative contacted the donor and it was agreed upon at that time by both parties that OneBlood would mail the $25 eGift card to the donor;s home address and forego the electronic redemption. On January 5, 2022 the OneBlood Customer Care Manager contacted the donor to confirm she received the gift card in the mail. The donor stated she did receive the gift card and was satisfied with OneBlood's response and follow through in ensuring she received the gift card. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/01/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) i received the gift card in the mail but it was only a courtesy gift card and i was promised the extra amount in the email that was sent to me prior to going in to the appointment. For future reference this company should not send out emails saying they will give you and extra $25.00 but then after you go they say it is not valid or has expired this is fake advertising and misleading
