He billed me before work was ever completed this is not the normal procedure for marine mechanics He billed me for work that was not completed by him such as bow thrusters and windless pedals The worst was he over billed me for Transmission Couplers at $2,999. He failed to provide any proof that the work was done and when I asked him to provide receipt for the $2,999 parts he ignored me for months. I first reached out to this company when i got my boat because it was recommended to me by the person I boat the boat from and he said they had a good reputation in the boating community. When I first contacted them they told me it would be $125 for a diagnostic and that would go towards any repairs. That was a good deal so i waited for those company rather then go with someone else. Finally they fit me in, he came by for 20 min was in a rush told us what we already knew what needed done and had asked him to do and took my $133 and said he would order parts and get a quote together and that I was misinformation that money would not go towards repairs. That might after midnight he emailed saying it had been a busy day and he would get us a quote the next day. I've emailed him and haven't heard a word since. Now we have waited 3 weeks waiting for him total and have to start the process over trying to get someone to fix the boat and he's ran off with the $125 plus tax.Business response
