I met with Dr. K**** at Bassin Plastic Surgery on April 4th, 2022 for my consultation. I received a quote for a Tummy Tuck & Lipo 360 of $12,500. At the appointment I was told that in order to proceed forward with the Tummy Tuck, my BMI would have to be under 30. My BMI was 33.6. I paid 5% which was a $625 deposit to hold my surgery date of July 5th, 2022. On June 7th, 2022 I met with the Bassin team and Dr. K**** at my pre-op appointment. My BMI was 31.8. Dr. K**** stated how he would only do the Tummy Tuck if my BMI was under 30 on the morning of July 5th. My Tummy tuck procedure would only occur if I was at the required weight. Upon checking out from my pre-op appointment of June 7th, I discussed payment with the front desk. Since the Tummy Tuck procedure was contingent on my weight loss, I asked if I could only pay for the Lipo 360. The front desk assistant said that I would need to pay for it all in full, but that if I did need to cancel the surgery due to not reaching the goal weight, that I would be refunded all but 15% of given payment. I payed the remaining balance due on my account of $11,875. On June 20th (2 weeks and 1 day prior to surgery) I called Bassin to inform them that I would need to cancel my surgery due to being unable to lose the weight for the Tummy Tuck. I was told that paperwork would be written up and sent over to the manager for approval. The manager called me on June 29th, stating that 50% of payment made would be refunded. Based on a legal document I signed, it stated that if cancellation occurred between 2-3 weeks, I would forfeit up to 25%. I was refunded only $6250 on June 30th,2022. Based on what I was told at my June 7th pre-op appointment (a 15% loss) and what is stated on the legal document (a 25% loss), I am still due $3125 minimum.

I contracted with this facility to have elective surgery performed, under anesthesia, by Dr. G***** and to be performed 2/24/22. I scheduled vacation time allowing me ample time to recover. I paid a deposit on 1/21/22 and the balance on 1/28/22 for a total payment of $15,672 (receipts attached). I arrived at the center on 2/24/22, was given a robe to change into, escorted to a room where the nurse inserted a needle in my wrist in preparation for the anesthesia, the doctor made his marks where the incisions were to be made and I waited and waited. Eventually the doctor and the nurse came in and advised me that they could not perform surgery as the anesthesiologist was not coming. First I was told he was late, then I was told he was sick. The nurse removed the needle, I dressed, left the facility shocked that this could happen. I did have faith in Dr. G***** so I decided to contact them the following week to reschedule. I had to revise my already planned vacation time. When I called to reschedule, I was advised that Dr. G***** was no longer with the facility. The girl I spoke to said she would have the office manager contact me. When I was contacted by Tara the office manager on 3/4/22, I advised her I was no longer confident in the facility and would like a refund. She assured me she would put in the request to Dr. B***** and took my debit card information in order to return the funds. I have followed up on my request 3/11/22, 3/16/22 and again on 3/21/22. Tara is now not returning my call and I still have not received a refund. I can see by another complaint that a similar situation happened. I am hoping this is not some trend by their office where they schedule surgery, take money, cancel and don't want to refund people. I tried to be amicable and understanding about the situation, however, they could not fulfill their end of the contract and I will not settle for anything less than a full refund.

Reference ********* Consumer Response /* (3000, 17, 2022/04/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Although just this date I received the down payment of $1567. back into my account, I still have not received the balance I paid in the amount of $14,105. I see that your merchant reversed the charge in your account, however, unless you respond to their request regarding whether you agree or dispute the reversal I do not receive my money in a timely manner. Business Response /* (4000, 20, 2022/05/03) */ I have confirmed once again with our merchant that the $14,105 & $1567 were removed from our account and it is now between the patient and her merchant. I have uploaded the screenshot from our bank account showing the funds were deducted

I was to have surgery on 1/4/2022. On 12/30/21, I had a voicemail from the nurse, Nicole, to go over medications and notes for the surgery. I called her back, dealing with obnoxious women on the phone. I initially had an issue with the behavior of Chyna when trying to track Nicole down 2 weeks ago and another nasty woman this past Thursday trying to track Nicole down when come to find out she never gave Nicole my message to call me back and then finding out she left early when I called again... then today, started taking my medication required and called at 10:30a to try and reach Nicole AGAIN to get my questions answered and dealing with another nasty person answering the phone, then I get Nicole... oh, we need to reschedule your surgery, doctor is out sick all well... sounds like I either got forgotten and booted or he's extending his holiday vacation. This does not work for my heavy work schedule. I want my money back that they have already charged me $6,000 for services not rendered and I want to go somewhere else where I will be respected! I know alot of people around her and they don't want me to go to social media or news media because I will if it's not credited IMMEDIATELY! oh, I am STILL waiting for the office manager to call me!
