Appointment was made with this office over the phone. We were told they except our insurance showed up at the appointment. They requested the insurance cards let us visit with the doctor on the way out. We were told we would have a $15 copayment. Then they proceeded to notify us and tell us they did not except our insurance. Basically they examined us knew what type of insurance we had and had us visit with the doctor anyway, and now are demanding $664 worth of charges that were not paid by our insurance, this was a mistake on their behalf they did except our insurance cards before we walked into the office to be examined by the physician. We we are not responsible for the office staff mistakes.Initial Complaint

I have been trying to get this office to process a prior approval for my prescriptions Synthroid 112 and 125 mg since 4/6/2022. ****** changed the requirements for Synthroid on 4/2/2022 and only with approved prior approval can I get the brand name. *** sent 10 notifications to Dr. D***** office.****** has faxed all the documentation as well. I have followup 3 times, twice this week. All that was done was sent a prescription order to the pharmacy only. Last night I was at the pharmacy and was told nothing from the drs or******. Mind you I called a second time on 6/6/2022. I called****** this morning and they faxed the request and I follow up with the drs office and was told by Dawn that it had not arrived yet, but will tell Pam to expedite since I did not have anymore meds., I called at 430pm today Pam left for a death and no one else available to assist and nothing done with prior approval, the receptionist offered some examples to hold me. What type of service is this that no one cares to do the job efficiently? I still do not have a prior authorization form completed by the dr to send to******. I ve done all the followups without any success only aggravation and for this I am paying your office what type of staff do you hire?
