The operators of Legacy Pool belong in prison. As a single mother I paid my entire life savings for my dream pool. Close to $30 grand. A hole has been dug in my yard without any pool installation. Over the course of 8 months the overgrowth has become a nuisance and the hole is an overall safety hazard. Contacting them has been nothing short of a joke. Every call that has actually connected was met with excuses about availability or scheduling constraints. Now their inbox is full and come to find out they are filing for Bankruptcy. These people scam the locals and then dissolve the company only to reopen under a different name and start the process all over again. THEY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED!Initial Complaint

This is an ongoing issue with Legacy Pool (727 North Drive, Melbourne FL 32934). We signed contract with the on July of 2021 to build our pool and project has not been completed and there is no information about when it will be completed, if at all. I have tried to communicate with them since April (last time they did work) and there has been lots of excuses but no real plan to complete the project. Now we recently learned they filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy relief in order to restructure their business, but they are not answering any emails. they also communicated plans on increasing the agree to cost, which I don't agree. I'm seeking to get my money back and break our of this contract. To sate we paid $41,659.Initial Complaint

Entered into Agreement with Legacy Pools August 1, 2021 for a project value of $62k. After initial design phase, communication and motivation to complete my project became non-existent. Ultimately, Legacy ceased communication and abandoned the jobsite leaving me with $35K in project earned value after disbursing $49.6K in funds, resultant of a $14.K deficit in project value. Furthermore Legacy's failure to perform makes it difficult to find a new contractor to finish the work at a modest rate. To date only 1 contractor out of 8 reached out to has provided a quote and agreed to take on the project, however, at a much higher premium. Cost to now complete the project is quoted at $54.9K. This changes the total project cost from $62K to $104k. Total financial damages caused by Legacy sum to $42.5K.Initial Complaint

I purchased a pool with Legacy pools back in 5/2020. Initial dig started on 7/17/2020. As of today, 9/6/2022 my project is still not completed. The back riser is falling apart and sinking. I have paid my entire fee to them of $53,000.00 and no completed project. I still have open permits on my project. I just want them to come and fix this sinking and cracking riser. And if they can't fix refund me the money for this part of my project so I can get a company that can. (I paid for paint and stucco on this riser which was never done, because they never finished it.) I have MANY emails and text messages that are saved to show the communication (or lack there of) from the company. Unable to upload all of them due to the file it is adding as. Also so they can't claim they didn't do my pool, Its listed under ********** and******** *****. They like to say that often to peoples complaints.Initial Complaint

I signed a contract with Legacy Pools on 07/12/2021. Our pool is less than 50% complete, as of 9/4/2022. We have paid $54509 to Legacy Pools, so far. We are seeking a refund of $23699 for monies paid for work not completed and equipment not received as of yet. On 08/30/2022, Legacy Pools filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Per our contract, see attached, Legacy Pools is now fully in default of our contract. We are now seeking a full refund of $23699, so that we may use these monies to pay a new contractor to purchase our needed equipment and complete the pool installation, that Legacy Pools failed to complete.Initial Complaint

I signed my contract with Legacy Poole in December of 2021. At first they showed up when they said they would. Well that was 6 months ago. I've called them numerous times. When I got no answer,I showed up at their office and nobody was there. I paid a total of $53;667.00 and all I have is a shell of a pool in my back yard. Today August 29 th 2022 I received a phone call from a legacy employee and he told me that the owner of legacy pools laid off all of their employees today and is closing its doors.Initial Complaint

On November 26,2021 we signed a contact with Legacy Pools LLC, to build our pools with Term of 160+ business days to complete as November 26,2022.I paid our 1st payment $8,775 and Before signing the contract I wanted to talk to the owner of Legacy pools Mr. C*** he promised and assured me they will handle all approximately 10 to 12 months period also legacy pools team will communicate with all schedule accordingly on time phase by phase completion Legacy pools started to dig on April 19,2022 the same day I received an email to pay, I transferred $23,400 to legacy pools per our contract. The subcontractor crew digged for the pools they damaged some of pavers driveway that was not on the plan, not putting any burries against my house for dirt not going into the pool. Pools/spa Steel works were done next day with all kind of issues that their field manager reported to be fixed plus I emailed to legacy pools with phots, details. They have NOT fixed or schedule anyone It's been huge issues the last 4 months since all my emails, texts and calls being ignored or saying they will pass my notes to their Field manager as I know HE has not been any help with my pool projects at all only delays after delays When I asked to set up a meeting or calls with the owner to resolve all issues I'm being ignored all the time.I received a text on Monday that a crew on schedule to prep for Gunite shell on 8/24 but none showed up there was no rain in this county on that day when I called receptionist had no idea and being ignored as always. I've requested many times to talk to the owner, operation managers to find a way to resolve the issues but they are all playing games seems they dont want to fix any, I lost my faith with legacy pools can complete my pools I paid legacy Pools LLC $32,175 so far They have not done any except big metal holes, more issues, stress in my family and cant get homeowners insurance to add the pool until gunite shell done, filled all holes in backyard unacceptable
