Our home is almost a year old and we have had numerous repairs with our septic system. The employees who come out are professional however they don't have any resolution. Our alarm keeps going off and the system is not working properly. We have had lines break apart, regulator put in, a larger filter put in. Have had our system pumped, again today. Had gallons of chemicals added. Still doesn't work properly. The grass next to the tanks are growing like crazy but not anywhere else. Normally it grows above the lines not the other side of the tanks. I feel there is a defect and want the whole thing including lines replaced under warranty. I have verbally asked for a list of repair dates and what was done and even sent an email requesting the information. No reply. Please help us to resolve this. We feel the system is compromised and have no faith that we won't continue to have issues. It's a new home built last year and we plan on staying here. This is causing mental distress on my family.Business response

The main issue with the system is the filter clogging relatedly due to incomplete breakdown of effluent. The reason the effluent is not being treated to the required level is because of something that is being put down the drain that is harming the beneficial bacteria in the aerobic treatment unit. We did not put chemicals into your system, we added a concentrated bacteria solution to try to facilitate more breakdown after a pump out to eliminate the contaminant. We have discussed this with you on several occasions and made suggestions on how to correct. We have no control over what you put down the drain and apparently you are not heeding our warnings. We have been out to your property on several occasions to address the issue and offer solutions without charge. The system is not defective and does not need replacement, you are just not taking proper care of it. We will be sampling the contents of your tank to provide hard evidence of misuse.Customer response

More Information...We are very careful about what we put into our system. We are not first time users of a septic system. Not once were we advised that we were putting something in the system to cause this issue. The grass on the downhill next to the system continues to grow faster then the grass on the septic field itself. Once again indicating something is not working properly. As far as not charging us for repairs this system is under the warranty. Our home is only a year old. The owner did not reach out to us, his brother sent a message. i closed on this brand new home, new construction, new septic June of 2021 . the on going issue is that the septic stinks. my whole neighborhood is stinky because of my stinky septic system. i have called several times for service and get lots of lip service with no resolution, was even told by the septic company to change my diet another time was told that because it is new it will be stinky for a while. I have been to other new homes and they do not stink my neighbors do not stink. it is obnoxious, annoying, frustrating please resolve this
