I have never been contacted by anyone from ***. No ' bites' , no advertising, no call backs, and emails are never returned.The person who answers the phone is not at all professional and says he will transfer then hands up. He doesn't answer again. I've tried to reach these people for a few years. I'm dying and need to get out of this times share or make money on this and ONLY THEY HAVE. Help, please.Initial Complaint

We signed a contract with this company on 08-24-2022 to sell 6 weeks we purchased for them at our timeshare. The contract said if they don't sell the weeks within 180 days, they will renew the effort to sell for another 180 days. We received maybe a dozen emails from them over the first year with offers if we could secure the exact date, location, and room size preferred. 99% of the time that did not work due to the short notice provided. After the year expired we stopped hearing from them with offers, and all calls and email sent go unanswered/unreturned.Initial Complaint

My husband and I received a call about a program that could help sell our unused vacation weeks. Date of transaction: July 29th, 2022 for the amount of $2,394 to "OWNERS RENTAL PROGRAM"The business committed to getting weeks sold within 90 DAYS, and no results. They later claimed we never answered and convinced us to try it for 90 DAYS or they would refund us the money paid. Every time we had "offers" I would follow the next steps, but there were no results. When I requested a refund, I was ghosted and did not receive any communication back. I called and talked with third party receptionist that only took messages. I emailed using the email address from our confirmation email and nothing. When I began to request a refund: I called 3 times on 12/11/23, left a message on 12/12/23, 12/14/23 no answer and was left on hold for a long time, 12/15/23 left message with operator. I emailed multiple times before then and nothing. I would like for this company to refund the money paid in its totality.Business Response

Unethical, dishonest Show Vacation Rentals scammed me on 9-21-22. They promised to rent my timeshare within 6-8 months. They never did, they havent replied to me since August of 2022 and I would like to form a class action lawsuit. Show Vacation Rentals tells you to anticipate action in 6-8 months to lure you in and ensure youre not alarmed before the 180 day refund policy. Apparently they scammed a lot of people as Ive read lots of the same complaints. Now one of their numbers is discontinued and the other says they are busy and to leave a message. Ive left several (email and phone), since November 2023. They NEVER call back. I see now they dont have a license as they promised. Its disgusting. Hoping to join a class action lawsuit against them.Business Response

I was contacted by ******************** of Show Vacation Rentals in June of 2022. He said that they would take extra weeks of my timeshare and rent them, and I'd make enough to cover my annual dues. He said I would be very happy. That sounded good since I was widowed in Jan. 2022 and my income cut in half. I had to send them a fee of $2394. They sent me a few weeks to check availability for, and there was never any availability for those weeks. They extended my time by another 6 months. Same thing. I got no rentals from them. They will not return my calls and have even blocked my number. I wrote them, and my letter was returned. I think I deserve a refund of my $2394. since they did not perform.Business Response

I was contacted by Show Vacation Rentals on 3-16-2023 about my recent time share purchase, they offered me help selling weeks that I wasnt using. They asked for a payment of $200 per week guaranteeing me compensation of up to 1800 per week. I was told they would sell the weeks to businesses seeking venues for conferences. Ive been hassled by these people to call and check availabilities for this promotion, which I have done over the past year. Ive have never found anything available in the areas they requested nor the 10 mile radius they have asked to inquire about. These phone calls took up a lot of my time. The agreement was for 180 days and somehow they extended it for another 180 days. They have exhausted all of their time, I have done what we agreed upon so now they have blocked EVERY ***** number I try to contact them on and are simply putting me on hold for hours at a time when I do get through. I hope there is a class action lawsuit, I would love to participate.Business Response

It's ?? A scam!!!!!They told me to pay 1899 ,which I did! They dtart giving bogus days ,and times.I called Rci on a number of occasions, and it was all fraud!!!!! They are getting you ,to give your credit card information, knowing it can't be disputed after a certain amount of time.I called so much,they blocked my number. I paid $1995 for exchange renting the weeks that I have available with my Timeshare. Which is a total of 6 weeks rented for the amount of $1800 each. The purchase was made through the phone and we agreed i was going to receive my money for the 6 weeks between ***** days unless i wanted to negotiate for more money than it would take 180 days for me to get the offers for more money. It has been 120 days and I still have not received one single ***** out of those 6 weeks. Another thing was that they said I didnt have to wait much longer because they had the weeks available all we had to do was wait for those days to get booked in to get paid. It is not like that so they basically lie about that, they never said I was supposed to check the availability of the offers I receive. Is been more than 120 days, so far I received 2 offers and neither one of them is available and is been with in 120 days when I suppose to receive the offers between ***** days. I feel like they have been scamming me since the beginning and every time I call to ask about it they just say they will keep sending offers to get me paid but both of the times I received the offers they are not available. last time I called to get my money back because i was not getting what they offered me and for what i paid for. I ask them to give me my money back and all they said was you will be getting your weeks paid once you receive offers but all this is a SCAM because they never have anything available and the dates of the offers I receive are never available.Business Response

Im March of 2023 I entered into a contract that stated Show Vacation Rentals had buyers lined-up to Rent my unused RCI weeks and I stood to collect rental revenue. I was assured that these rentals would start happening in the next 90 days. In order to do this I needed to pay an upfront fee which covered their marketing costs. They would then rent the weeks for $1800/ week(my portion) for the 4 weeks specified in the contract. All offers that came in were for resorts that had no availability for the time requested. Show Vacation Rental marketed the weeks for another 6 months after the initial 6 months ended with no viable offers. Each time an offer was presented I had to do the legwork calling RCI to confirm availablity for the dates and time requested. This additional effort I was asked to perform was never told to me up front. I think I was presented with a handful of offers but not one had availability. When calling them I am told their customer service agents are busy and I will receive a call back but that never happens. I am looking for a refund but not holding my breath. Unfortunately it looks like I am one of many they pulled this scam on.Business Response

Please see attached. Show Vacation Rentals called me in March 2023, a fews days after I had made a purchase from ******* *** Resorts. Its a small purchase and I am very familiar with ******* **** Show Vacation's person told me that they work with ******* *** and ******* *** wants them to help me rent my units. This person told me numerous times that they GUARANTEE a that my units will be rented (due to HIGH Demand) and I should get my rental income by June, or latest October 2023. All I had to do was pay my unit fees upfront...a six-week fee. Show Vacations had NO INTENTION of renting my units. And Never provided me with a single lead that would tell me otherwise. I kept on calling them from June onwards when I realized that i had been SCAMMED. I am 70yrs old and it is sad to see this happening to me and others like me.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because they NEVER followed up on what they had GUARANTEED to me. They had said that ALL my six-weeks will be rented by June 20023 or the latest October 2023. Nothing got rented and most importantly, they did not even try. Both RCI and Holiday Inn later told me that this was a SCAM.Please ask the business to show me their attempts to even remotely try to rent my units.

During that time, you did confirm that the representative did not give you a specific time frame on payment. Less than a week after signing up, you received a welcome email with a link to your property profile showing the online marketing of your weeks. They had GUARANTEED the rental of my units and GUARANTEED a payment to me within 90 days, or the most within 180 days and they NEVER followed up on anything. I have been asking for my REFUND since October 2023. I have reported them to the DA's office and other Florida Agencies for SCAMMING Seniors. I need your help to STOP them and help me get my refund.
