The moving crew did a great job overall and everyone was extremely helpful and polite. They also did a great job wrapping our furniture and ***************** to the truck. They let us know when they dinged one of our walls on the stairwell, and that is to be expected moving large furniture in a tight space.The issue that needs improvement is the way that the inventory is done. Even though we gave specific measurements, that information was not relayed correctly to the moving crew and so we had a lot more cubic feet than expected and were charged for that at the end, which was much higher than the quoted estimate. If we need to move again, we would not hesitate to hire ****** and his crew again.Review from Debra D

SINCE DAY ONE THEY HAVE BEEN A NIGHTMARE I WISH I COULD GO LOWER THAN ZERO. THEY LIED TO ME PRICE IS NOW 3X THE COST . THEY LIED ABOUT THE DELIVERY DATE SUPPOSED TO BE **** 2ND AND 2 PEOPLE SAID FINE CALL A WEEK AHEAD OF TIME WE DID WELL GUESS WHAT NOW WE FIND OUT NO ONE EVER SAID UNE 2ND TAKES 21 DAYS SO NOW WE HAVE A DATE UNE 6 OR 7TH... DO YOU PEOPLE THINK WE CAN AFFORD TO STAY IN A HOTEL TILL THEN?????? IF YOU WANT A LAW SUITE I CAN DEFINITELY DO ONE AND YOU CAN PAY FOR ALL OUR HOTEL STAYS...I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO MY WORSE ENEMY NOT EVEN A DOG.......YOU PEOPLE **** AND I AM GOING TO SPREAD THE ***** YOU LIE WORSE THEN LITTLE KIDS DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Review from David V

They did a great job. They could have used a little more help. It took a lot of hours to get it done, but everything arrived in perfect shape. I had adequate notice of their arrival and at my destination.Review from Alisha B

The move went smoothly. They were careful with the furniture and nothing was damaged or missing upon arrival. I did not receive a call the day before letting me know when the movers would arrive, so I did have to wait around for several hours on the day of the move before I received a call letting me know when they would arrive.Review from Anthony H

Never hire this company. The movers tried to charge us for an additional 300 feet at a dollar a foot without giving us the 75 feet that comes with the move. They moved our stuff to a warehouse (that’s 2 moves). Then loaded it on a truck with several other people’s stuff and unloaded it here (that’s 2 more moves). They damaged a 65” t.v., a 42” t.v., a bed bench, and put tape right on our stainless steel trash can. Our compensation? $108 (their insurance covers 60 cents a pound). These companies are brokers, there are several different companies in the process of moving your stuff and they ride the coattails of reputable companies by using “Van Lines” in their name. Horrible movers and worse customer service.Review from Michele D

****** and his colleague - who did the actual pickup and delivery - were AMAZING. Super courteous, meticulous and careful w my antique furniture, include a glass front china cabinet and bookshelf. They really went above and beyond to provide a great experience. Re: Pricing Van Lines, the team was also courteous. However, be VERY careful to review and double check your inventory and read the fine print before you sign the contract. There were a few surcharges I didnt expect. Like how many stairs you have. Also, PVL provided direct same day pickup and delivery given shortish distance, although moved from CT to **. Its worth paying for this if at possible!! My bad for not taking more time to study everything before signing and asking more questions. Dont make my mistake. Overall, all went well. So thankful for that.Review from Martha S

Worst experience ever. DO NOT USE THEM. I moved from Virginia to *******. The movers they hired were late and took forever to load up a small apartment. It was midnight before they finished. I was told my things were coming straight to ******* but after several days of no delivery I called to see where my things were. The customer service *****. No one cared and couldnt tell me where my things were. I finally was able to get through to the company that actually moved my things (had to go through sales not customer service to get anyone to answer the phone). Found out my things were in a storage facility in **********. It took a month to finally get my things and multiple items were broken, my mattress had been stored on its side for the month and was ruined, and several boxes were missing including one with my framed College diplomas. No one cares and no one would help me get my things. Now they just dont answer the phone when I call, dont return my messages, and dont answer emails I send.Review from Kimberly B.

After being signed up to move my things by ***** who is a sales rep and paying my deposit which was $1200 I was told that I’d receive calls daily about where my things were along the way. I moved from Florida to Washington state. I never once received a call from him. My belongings were picked up from my storage unit in Florida on Sept 25th. The contract stated that I’d get my things 21 days after pick up. I didn’t get my stuff delivered to my apartment until Nov 15th. There was a checklist that had all my things listed on it. I didn’t receive my bedrails or my trash can (stainless steel). I had to call weekly to find out where my things were at and even then I was told “ the dispatch team won’t answer the phone” or “ it’s in route but we don’t know where.” For a month it never even left Florida. This company hired a 3rd party by the name of All Year Moving and Storage. I should’ve known to not trust them after day one when the moving team never showed up to meet me and I had to call to find out why. I was told that the team was working on another bigger move. After the mover/pick up team rescheduled with me and showed up on another day I was told that the man had a toothache and that’s why he didn’t show up the day before. 2 men showed up to pick up my things and only one of them actually worked. The other man just stood around watching. I was also promised a reimbursement for my things being late and my missing bed rails/belongings and today received an email saying I’d get $234 which is a complete joke. Sleeping on an air mattress for 2 months, constant stress of not knowing where my things were and paying them over 3,300 doesn’t compare to that little amount of money they claim is a courtesy. I recommend u take your business elsewhere. I’ll never do this again. Completely unprofessional.
