I use a tax company in order to help me with my taxes and in return I have not received my full funds allotted to me. I've been trying to reach the tax preparation tax preparation rap she's been dodging me and not returning my calls I need assistance with this please..Initial Complaint

My name is Anaise Magene and I’m making this complaint because this year I filed my 2020 taxes returns with a lady named Ruth she never gave me her last name who said she worked for a company called Canaan Plus Tax Inc I was recommended to her by a family member. On February 21 I had Ruth file my return after that I was told I would be receiving 1517$ I was scheduled to receive that amount March 24 and when I double checked the the IRS website it said the same thing but when the Deposit was made into my account the amount was deducted tremendously the amount I received in my account was 330$ when I called IRS to figure out what’s going on IRS told me there was no mistake that was done on their end that the amount that was supposed to be given to me was in fact 1517$ So IRS told me to go to Ruth and tell her everything they told me so I did. I called Ruth let her know what the IRS told me and Ruth told me that the IRS is lying and she never took my money but I’m convinced that she did take it because she’s not returning none of my calls and I tried to go down to her office and she’s never there at this point thats fraud and I’m not the only person she’s done this to I have multiple witnesses and evidence against her if she’s not stoped she will continue to do this to people she’s still not admitting to what she did she’s still denying everything and she’s telling me even though She’s my taxes preparer that she has no idea where my money went she not giving me no answers or my money back.
