One of the worst companies I have ever worked with. Completely unprofessional. They DO NOT return calls, the manager/owner is rude. They were selected by Choice Home Warranty as the company to come out to fix my AC. They wanted payment upfront prior to any repairs or even finding the cause of the issue. Once they found the supposed issue, they told me they need another 3 or 4 days to get approval which is false information. I called Choice Home Warranty and they explained that this is not their policy. It seems like they had another cash call and didn't want to spend time here resolving the issue.The actual approval from Choice Home Warranty takes minutes when done on site, so the Manager/Owner actually LIED.

Unprofessional, ************************* My experience with A&J Appliance and Repair, *****, ** (A&J) has been nothing but stressful and disappointing. I have a home warranty service contract and A&J was the service provider for my A/C claim. A&J was a NO SHOW for FOUR scheduled appointments. They did not call or email me to say they needed to reschedule; they just didn't show up. Most of my calls go to a voice mail that says they will call you back within 2-hours, which is very fair. I left them several messages over the past month that they have not returned my calls. When I finally got a hold of someone, I was told about a part delay from the manufacturer, which I understand they cannot control. What they can control is arriving to scheduled appointments that they made and confirmed, calling a customer if they need to reschedule, returning phone calls in an appropriate amount of time (or at all), submit paperwork on time as not to cause any further delays and show compassion and concern for the customer. This has been ongoing for over a month now. Shameful to say the least. I wish I could give them a 0-star rating, 1-star is too much. // I did not mention my home warranty by name since I have had several claims with them over the years and received excellent service until now. I decided to get a new A/C and my home warranty agreed to send me a check for what would have been the amount of the repair to help with the cost.

Apparently, this company signed up to be a service provider for Choice Home warranty, and ****** services. Unfortunately, for me, I was assigned this company as my service provider through choice home warranty.After several missed schedule appointments and phone number mixups , on 04/13/23 A&J sent a repairman out to my home for my refrigerator repair. The ice machine was not working. The repairman required the copay immediately, didnt accept checks or credit cards. He would only accept cash or some sort of bank payment. None of this payment information was provided when I confirmed my appointment. I had to borrow the cash from my neighbor. I gave him the cash and he couldnt write a receipt, it would be emailed to me. He never emailed the receipt. I had to call and request the email of the receipt.The problem was diagnosed as a bad motor in the ice maker. The ice maker must be replaced. He told me it would take about a week for the approval process and receiving the part. Its two weeks later, 4/27, the A&J repairman never came back with the part or provided any further service or contact with me. The company has ignored all my calls. This company hardly ever answers the phone, no one apparently is in their office. They never returned my Phone Mail messages even though their recorded message states they return calls within two hours.Finally, after many complaints about A&J to Choice Home Warranty, and the inability of Choice Home Warranty to reach A&J or get a response from them, I was assigned a new service provider and must start the repair process over again. Im not sure what happened with A&J and their relationship with Choice. However, if you are a member of Choice and get assigned A&J Appliance as you service provider ask for a different company. If you need a service provider dont use A&J Appliance.
