On Friday July 21 2023 took my car range Rover evoque to Miami british land rover to change alternator and they installed a bad alternator which last 30 mins. the warning shows up in the dashboard when i was going home from the shop .I paid $1261.53 called them as soon the warning came up and they said problem is something else took my car to dealer Monday July 24 and they found the alternator was NO good I paid to install the new one and my car is running perfectly fine since then .they refused to give me my money Back which is unfair since they did nothing .after incident look at their reviews and there is people complaining about the same that happened to me .if that happens to me a man can you imagine what they do to women or some other innocent customer this place should NOt be running businesses in *******. Please help I paid to land rover dealer again if you need the bills I have them and is clear what the dealer said the problem was in the car Thank you very much hope to hear from youBusiness response

Repair invoice states 12 months warranty on parts and labor, if the customer have any problem on that period of time is covered and We will take care of the situation.
If the customer did the repairs on another shop, then He has to bring the defective part for the refund.
At this time Customer has also opened a charge back on the Credit card payment, as soon as He return the part it will be processed.

I am rejecting this response because: the part was garbage according to the ********* has No value Alternator was NO good they took the original land rover Alternator to be refurbished and use it in someone's else car I can NOT return that part and credit card won't pay for service that didn't work beside they owed me a tow truck that took my car to dealer .that place shouldn't be open to customersThank you

The USED PART removed from the customer car is ready for pick up, He can stop any time for it.
We are following standard procedure on the Warranty, return the part and get the refund.
He wants refund and also keep the part, that is not the proper way to submit a claim.

I recently searched for a range rover car battery on Amazon and what Item I ended up ordering is what appeared on my search, so I ordered what I thought was the correct car battery from Miami British. When I received it I learned that this was an auxiliary battery which was the incorrect battery. I immediately inquired about returning the item and it is also very heavy. They gave me a return label without shipping and when I took it to return it them mail center informed my they cannot return a battery unless the shipping is paid for by the seller because the shipper has a hazmat license. I do not have a hazmat license (most people dont and it is very difficult to obtain). *** asked the shipper repeatedly to provide a label with the shipping fee included so I can return the battery. They have stopped replying to my multiple requests. I would like this matter resolved and simply to have them provide what is necessary in order to mail this item and receive a refund with shipping included as it is a heavy battery. They should also warn the buyer that this automobile has two batteries, a main battery and an auxiliary battery. This is not a typical situation for a car.,.they should have better advertising/explanation on this if they are going to advertise this battery under the buyers search for a car battery, not an auxiliary battery. They should also inform the buyer that you need a hazmat license in order to return an item.Business response
