FMT was hired to move a yacht from *********** to it's final destination in ********** and passing through *******. They were hired back in November of 2023 and were given a deposit of $12,000. Unfortunately they did not do anything of the paperwork with the shipping companies and we ended up doing it ourselves. We requested our money back on December 8, 2023 and it was agreed that they were going to charge for documentation and the remaining amount to be refunded was supposed to be $10,980. After threatening legal action against them they have refunded $5,490 on January 26, 2024 and said that the other half would be deposited a week later. Today February 28 the other half has yet to be refunded. We consulted with a lawyer here in ***** and unfortunately the cost to file a suit against these people would have a cost of around $8,000 so we decided to not go that route.Customer response
