We booked the Miami: 4th of July Fireworks Cruise from Biscayne Bay. @ $119.99 per person for 2 people. We are looking for a refund for this event as what we received was not what was advertised. What we received was a clear bait and switch. The trip was advertised as:- Depart from ****************************************************, ** *****, *** at 8pm - Biscayne Bay Fireworks cruise - Head towards the stunning homes of the rich, known as the Millionaire Homes and famous located on the Venetian Islands, Star Island, Hibiscus Island, and Palm Island - Fireworks: ************* Fireworks, *******************, ************, Brickell, South Beach, and Miami Beach - Music and Cash Bar (you are welcome to bring your own food)- Bilingual guide in english and spanish - 4th of July themed giveaways What we received instead:- Our boat launch got changed 5 hours before departure to leave from Dinner key instead of behind ******************** - Arriving at the new location and waiting in line we were DEMANDED to pay extra money to "Upgrade" to either an open bar, buffet, or both. We weren't given the option to decline this upgrade. We didn't want food/drinks and they even advertised a $ bar to bring our own food. Instead we were FORCED to pay and the crew of the boat would not let us on the boat w/out paying extra.- After paying, since by this time it was too late to go elsewhere for fireworks and we had already paid for the boat tickets we sat on the boat that didn't depart from the slip until 8:50pm. Due to this and the ****** being a no wake zone, we didn't even enter the bay until most firework shows were already starting their finale's.- Lastly, there was no "bilingual guide". The original advertisement led us to believe that if we were to depart from the original location that we would have had a guide to talk about the history and some of the buildings of Miami as the boat made its way to the bay for the fireworks and there were no "4th of July themed giveaways".Business response

************************* & ***************************** went on the July 4th cruise and ate and had drinks at the bar. We have photos from the event showing beautiful fireworks but it does not attach to this response. We had 2 options the client can purchase and ************************* & ***************************** choose the location of Dinner ******************* not *******************. As ************************* & ***************************** were upset we offered a 20% refund which was refused. Unfortunately they did go on the July 4th cruise, they are a full dinner and enjoyed several alcoholic beverages. I understand that they are seeking a full refund, but special events cost money and they enjoyed all of the above. We apologize but we can not offer events with a cruise, dinner and drinks without payment.Business response
