In the past I had a problem with a purchase I had made at Mayoral.com. that problem was the sneakers I purchased arrived and they had been used. I have pictures. For that purchase I wrote a negative review online and explained what had happened. Recently, I made a new purchase from Mayoral.com. I received 2 emails concerning the order one was an order cancellation, the other a refund notice. When I contacted the store I was told because of my negative review, I was no longer allowed to shop at Mayoral.com.Customer response

To clarify,
I would like Mayoral to release my account for future purchases. Although, their email states that they emailed their headquarters for a release I have not yet nor do I expect to have a release extended to me. It was stated in their message sent through the BBB that my order was held up due to a problem with a prior order I placed. That is an inaccuracy. My order was not held up. My order was cancelled and refunded by Mayoral without notification. The problem with the previous order they are mentioning is simple to explain. I ordered a pair of sneakers for my five year old son. When they arrived and I opened the box it was obvious they had been previously worn and returned to Mayoral, (I have photos). I contacted Mayoral and asked for a new pair on the day of arrival and was refused. I then asked if they could give my a better price and was refused. I had been a customer of ********************** for 5 years spending quite a bit of money on their website. When I spoke to the customer service representative they were rude and unaccommodating. For this reason I wrote a negative review online and gave them a one star rating. Because of that review I am now being blocked from future purchases. I don't think that's a fair business practice. I should be allowed to write a review and share my experience with other customers and online shoppers. Doing so is one of the online consumers only way of knowing what to expect from online retailers. Their should be no punishment for writing a review.
In short I would like verified confirmation that my account has been released and I am free to make future purchases on the Mayoral website.
