I am writing to urgently address inaccuracies on my credit report due to the unauthorized sharing of my personal information with credit bureaus, which has caused me significant financial and emotional distress.As per 15 USC 1681 Section 602, I am entitled to financial privacy and expect my information to be handled with confidentiality.Moreover, 15 USC 1681 Section 604(a)(2) states that a consumer reporting agency cannot disclose account information without my explicit consent, which I have not given.The errors related to BAPTISTHSFCU have negatively impacted my financial status and require immediate correction.Please also ensure compliance with 15 USC 1666(b), which prevents creditors from marking credit card payments as late under certain conditions.For your reference, my account details are:Account Number: *************I request an urgent review of my account, immediate correction of these inaccuracies on my credit report, and strict adherence to federal laws regarding my information.Failure to resolve these issues promptly may result in legal action. My account is being closed for some reason which I was unaware of. I was told I had opted for some type of insurance to be withdrawn from my account monthly. I called the Credit Union in Nov 2023 and told them I didn't want no insurance. They gave me the Ins info and told me to call the ins directly which I did. And I thought the issue was resolved. Now I am being told that I am in collection for $69.03 for that same insurance. Which I don't understand why is because if no money was in the account why would they continue making payments? So apparently my checking account was closed back in November of 2023 with no follow up call to me in regard to this issue at all. I continue making my monthly car payment thru this same account which was *CLOSED" all the way up until May 2024. Then I received a call in May 2024 that my car payment is delinquent and that I have been placed into collections with a charge off on my account for $69.03. I explained to several reps that I made my car payment and also sent them a screen shot of the payment transfer receipt. First, they denied ever receiving the payment of $534.00, but several hours later I was told the payment of $534 was received and was sent back to my bank since the account was closed. Why??? If my car payment was so called past due, why would you send the payment back to me and not apply it to my loan? This is the most unprofessional bank I have ever encountered. I paid the rep the payment of $69.03 for which my account was being closed for, but I am asking for a full refund of that amount. Since I was not made aware of any closures prior to the acct being closed or placed into collections. No notifications were never sent out to me via mail regarding this issue. The checking account can remain closed I will no longer send any transfers for my loan again. I will send a money order going forward on my outstanding car loan.Initial Complaint

I requested a balance transfer back in December 6, 2023. January then comes around and I see that it never went through. They never paid my other credit card from Apple so I called to see what was going on in January 17 (reference number: *******) and in this call I am told that the check was never cashed so I requested that the balance transfer be cancelled and it was before my due date of January 25. The lady told me that it would be cancelled and not to worry. Then February 8 comes around and I see that the balance transfer is still not cancelled and now they have added on a late fee and interest fees and it is hurting my credit so I call again (reference number: *******) and I'm told that this did not go through that it could be cancelled but that it was going under investigation first but not to worry that it would be taken off. Now it is February 20 and I call again because they still have not cancelled this when I requested for this to be cancelled over 1 month ago. This is hurting my credit and they refuse to help me.Customer response

I would like to stop the complaint and remove it.
