On Dec 1st, Viper Tec advertised a promo FREE Record OTF with every order over $99. I spent over $99, I received the promo mentioned in my cart, and the promo was present on my order confirmation page as well as my invoice in my email that Viper Tec sent. 12 days later, my order still has not shipped, although it had a tracking number assigned on Dec 11th, 10 days after order. I logged into my account to check the status of my shipping, and the order says it is fulfilled, but something different was on my order page on their website now. It now said I was not receiving the advertised promotion for the Free Recon OTF, instead it showed Free Mini OTF and small OTF. This is not the promotion that was advertised and it was switched without my knowledge nearly 2 weeks after the original order was placed. This is a clear bait and switch. They have not returned my emails, I have also reached out to them on social media, and they have not responded there. I have also called their available phone numbers and the phone rings and rings and nobody ever answers. I am attempting dispute resolution through BBB prior to issuing a chargeback on my card which performed the transaction. Either refund me the full amount, or send me the promotional item as advertised, being the Recon OTFCustomer response

I placed an order with Viper Tec order #***** A shipment was received but I only received 2 or the 3 items ordered (order total was $178.42) The one item not received totaled $99.95. Ive notified them & asked them to correct or refund. Ive made more than 10 attempts (email and phone) and received zero response. Just looking to get what I ordered or a refund.Business response

This company is owned by Blade City. It's just their way of making their knock off OTF knives have a fancy name. I laced a $140 order and paid the extra $13 for 1 to 3 day shipping. That order was placed on September the 1st. It is now the 12th and my order still hasn't left the warehouse. Their shipping policy says orders will be shoes within 24 hours of order being placed. I've received a total of 8 emails. 3 of those stating my order was shipped but refuse to give me a tracking number. The other 5 were the exact same emails saying that my concern has been escalated to management. I logged into my account to find the tracking number that was created 3 days ago but has yet to be dropped off for shipment. Meaning the first 2 emails saying my order shipped already were blatant lies. I was told that if my order didn't ship within 2 days that they'd refund my $13 dollars for the express shipping. That was 6 days ago. I brought it ** in an email I sent Saturday and haven't heard back from them since. On top of that they are balming the **** having covid problems as the reason why my tracking info hasn't been updated but assured me it's been shipped. How can the **** ship something they never received?? This company is a joke and I wish I would've read all of the exact same reviews as mine before I placed my order. It's an order for 2 knives and a ninja star. Does it really take 2 weeks to get that put in a box and shipped out?? They have no concern with helping you once they receive payment. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. How is this place still allowed to operate?? All of the complaints are of the same nature. Either they never received their order or they've had to wait over a month with no help from customer service until their order arrives. Then to use the **** and put a bad name on them for their lack of care for proper business management.Initial Complaint

An order was placed on June 26th and we have yet to receive the merchandise. There hasn't been any communication from Viper-Tec whatsoever and it has been impossible to find any contact info for them. Upon further research and/or unless mistaken, this company is a ficticious online shell company that doesn't exist. I believe it has ties to another company that offers the same exact services, yet also doesn't exist (blade-city.com). It appears these two companies are online only, provide no contact info whatsoever, and have both received numerous complaints by many people claiming to have never shipped any products. And what's even more frustrating is that the phone number registered with you (The BBB of *****) goes to "Blade-City", not the company that's actually registered with you. When called, it states "the users mailbox is full". Shut them down! Horrible business owners (that's if the business actually exists...!!!)
