            BBB has received a report alleging that Fivestar Marketing offers the opportunity to purchase established online e-stores with guaranteed returns.  However, after paying the upfront purchase price via cryptocurrency, all contact with the business ceased.

            Fivestar Marketing’s website advertises the following: “Within your contract’s 90-day effective date, a minimum of $36,000.00 in total combined net profit will be generated through your 3 stores. Net profit margins equate to an average of roughly 40%. You are entitled to 100% of all accrued profit for each store; deposited directly to the bank account(s) you link to each store.”

            BBB reached out to Fivestar Marketing requesting substantiation that clients will see a guaranteed profit of $36,000.00 within 90 days.  We are awaiting their response.

            BBB suggests extreme caution when responding to investment opportunities and reminds consumers to do background research on BBB.org before signing a contract. While ads claim specific earnings and indicate everyone will make a profit, the BBB files nationwide indicate no evidence of everyone making the promised money.

            On 12/06/2022 BBB wrote to Fivestar Marketing LLC and asked the business to substantiate the following advertising claims:

            Company's website, https://fivestarmarketingllc.com/ states:

            BBB found that these claims were in violation of the BBB Code of Advertising.  As of March 30, 2023, the business has failed to respond to BBB.

            I want to file a complaint against Fiverstar Marketing LLC because I believe they have scammed ** out of $22,997 for selling us a package of e-commerce stores which they never delivered to us.We purchased the 10 store package for $22,997 and the person I spoke with, *********************, sent us an email agreement to sign by DocuSign. This agreement included all of their names and their promise to deliver the stores and the promise to generate a minimum guaranteed gross income and net profit for all stores in a 60 day period.********************* instructed me to pay them $22,997 not by wiring the money to their bank account but through sending our money to our Coinbase account and using the lending feature of Coinbase to lend them the money and then they would prepare our receipt and transfer the stores we purchased from them to us. **** explained that they want the money sent to them through using Coinbase and its lender feature to lend them the money. This seems to be a way for them to avoid paying taxes on the services they sell through their website because we are lending them money through Coinbase and this minimizes their taxes this way versus wiring them $22,997 to their bank account.They scammed us out of our $22,997 and they didnt transfer to us the stores we purchased. I did manage to have **** tell me through their website chat they they have received the money we sent them through the Coinbase lender and I recorded and screenshot this response from him to prove that he said that they have our money. I have recorded and screenshot all responses from them to document as much as I could in order to file complaints and to also seek legal action against this company. I have all the emails, documents and fully signed Docusign agreement from them and I intend to use them in all of the complaints I will file against this company and to also seek legal action. I am requesting from them that they refund the full amount of $22,997 back to out Coinbase account immediately.

            I came across Fivestar Marketing searching for turnkey dropshipping stores. I was immediately skeptical of their revenue and profit claims. Their "all-inclusive" business model intrigued me, but I had many questions and concerns. I reached out and received a text from a **** ***** We scheduled a call and spoke for just shy of an hour. I first asked about a previous BBB complaint that I came across stating a prior customer had paid them via Coinbase Commerce and never received any stores or services. **** explained the circumstances surrounding that specific complaint, explained why they invoice through Coinbase Commerce, and explained the steps since taken to avoid further complaints. After spending the next few days looking further into their stores and contract agreement, I decided to purchase their 15 store package on Jan. 23, 2024 for $25,497. I already had a Coinbase account, so I wired funds to Coinbase and paid their invoice directly. **** told me the store transfer process takes only 2-3 days after the invoice is paid. 4 days had passed with no transfers in sight and I became extremely weary considering their prior BBB complaint. **** remained responsive with me throughout the delay and after waiting 9 days in total, all 15 stores were eventually transferred to my ownership. Their team spent the next 2 weeks improving store design and creating new *********************** for each store. Around mid-February, all stores had seen at least their first sale under my new ownership. I am writing this review on March 1, 2024. 38 days into my contract, Fivestar Marketing has generated $160,632.15 in total gross sales across my 15 stores. I am BEYOND thrilled with these results. Yes, it's less revenue than what technically should've been generated around this time for my specific contract, but I've already made back what I paid for the package plus profit. My contracts full term is 2 years, so I will provide updates as more results come in.
