I am writing this complaint because I feel wronged and provided horrible service. Dr ********** has been a long time eye doctor and he usually works with me but this time was different. I recently went to eye doctor for a yearly checkup and decided I wanted to get glasses. Over the years the doctor had been very good to me but this time was unbelievable. I currently have vision insurance and was seeking some new glasses. I went to the doctor he told me he doesnt take my insurance which I went out of my way to have a copy of my in network providers emailed to me that he was a part of. The doctor charged me ****** for one pair glasses. I paid it and he said the glasses would be ready about a week. Going on to a month Ive been calling the office every single day faithfully. Today on January 10th 2023 I decided to dig deeper in to my insurance and they told me that yes he does take my insurance and that paying that amount is ridiculous. I called the doctor again after speaking with my insurance company where he proceeded to finally answer to tell me that my glasses just got there today and he still does not take my insurance. So I replied to him with a simple well can I get a refund then? And he told me no. I cant get a refund because he paid for my glasses.
