My name is Linda ****** and I’d love help spreading awareness to my case . My daughter ****** ****** booked an appointment with *** ***** at **** ** ***** ***, Miami, Fl *****. Ms.***** claimed to be a professional and licensed hair extension specialist , which we have found is not the case. On her Instagram page(@iconicinchesmiami which she has since made private) she promotes her service of micro link extensions that are individually sealed to your hair with keratine. Upon arrival, Ms. ***** cut all of the density off of my daughter’s hair, trimming about 60% of her hair off before she even began the extension process. This was done without my daughter’s (who is 16 and had no idea what she was doing) consent and Ms.***** never contacted me to ask for permission to chop off most of my daughter’s hair. She told my daughter these were special scissors to blend the hair instead of letting her know she was actually cutting her natural hair off. I was under the impression that my daughter was going to a hair salon as she charged my daughter $890.00 USD.. it turns out Ms.***** is operating from a room in the back of her house with no license. I took it upon myself to look her business up and it is registered on sunbiz as ICONIC INCHES MIAMI, INC. The business is registered under the same address she practices at. My daughter’s hair has since fallen off, leaving us with many fees to get her hair properly nurtured back to health and hopefully restored. I have since reported Ms.***** to the state of FL, and my legal counsel is helping us pursue this in a court of law. Please I beg of you, AVOID THIS WOMAN, THIS IS NO LEGITIMATE BUSINESS!!! There are plenty of wonderful and licensed hair salons in Miami, spare yourself the trouble!
